He reported Howard was asked for input on the coach to hire and it was Phil Jackson. Shorty ignored him and hired DA, thinking what does howard know anyway? Im bringing showtime back!!!

I think I would be pissed as well if a coach set in the corner of the room while he should be involved with the group explaining how i fit in the grand scheme of things

This has nothing to do with Kobe. If Phil was the coach, it wouldn't have mattered what Kobe said in some meeting. I'll say it again, this is what happens when you choose Mike Dantoni over someone who clearly wanted him out. I'll tell ya this much, Mike Dantoni got exactly what he wanted. He really wants NO big men in his offense, but he atleast wanted Dwight or Gasol gone, because he "needs the space" on the court. Reports have it that he said absolutely nothing to Dwight in the meeting a few days ago. That was calculated imo as he clearly wants 1 of the 2 out. If the Lakers trade or amnesty Pau, I think he'd jump for joy.

Rockets @ Lakers isnt a big deal but I get your point and reason. To be the champ you have to beat The Champion. I cant wait to see them play the Heat and get their asses handed to them

They have one on the bench Geneh. His name is Robert Sacre and is a pretty good young talent. If Don'tknowi is the coach that Short Buss believes he is, then Sacre will develop with his coaching into a pretty good player.

Is he a top five center? Probably not. But my point is he has the talent and skills that he could easily become one. He has a better free throw shooting percentage than Howard, plays pretty good defense, and he WANTS to be a Laker. He was recently offered an extension and I am not sure he has excepted and signed the contract offer yet. But he plays with alot more energy than Howard and he doesn't pout when things don't go his way. I like the guy and I think if they develop him, he'll be pretty darn good.
