Yeah, it's pretty fucking stupid when people criticize him for only winning when he had other good players around him. There hasn't been an NBA champion without at least 2 future HOFers ever outside of maybe the 03-04 Pistons, but there were a ton of really good players all in their prime.

ok, i'll try it WITHOUT being a smart-ass. it was bad enough when the guy used to taunt other players on the sidelines and dance and all that craziness. imo a tad much, but not TOO over the top. when he did the "DECISION"(we all know it wasn't), that was WAY too much. and i know you'll bring up it got money for kids and all that, but this was about himself. there's no other acceptable explanation for it...

then he gets to Miami for the first year and all he ever did was run his mouth about his detractors(i'm sure i don't need to go into everything he tweeted). add to that the first trip to the finals he TOTALLY disrespects Dirk Nowitzki, then loses and throws a jab at the fans. sorry, but imo NOT cool...

even before the guy came into the league all that "king" crap was uncalled for, but it is what it is...

I agree about the Dirk thing. That was pretty low. The Decision thing, and he's even admitted he regrets it a lot, was more his agent and ESPN in his ear. I mean, if they wanted to devote an hour long show to you and give all the proceeds to charity, would you not do it? Not saying I agree with it, but I understand it.

The whole "King" stuff and all that was heaped upon him when he was barely able to drive. You can't blame him for that.

As far as dealing with his detractors go, how would you deal with it? I mean, the guy has gotten hate thrown at him since the second he was drafted, and he deals with it every day. He's beginning to deal with it in a more mature way, but he's still a young man after all.

I guess when all is said and done, I don't see anything he's done on the court as being so much worse, if at all, than a lot of the stuff other stars have done. Off the court, he's a family man (which is remarkably rare in the NBA these days), and living in Akron I know how much he gives and it's incredibly admirable. In a league with so many thugs and pieces of shit, it's refreshing to see a kid who at least genuinely has a good heart and wants to help others.

Other than The Decision, you are easily blowing all of that out of proportion. If you don't like a guy for some reason you will never like him no matter what. But you love Kobe and he raped a girl...Jordan cheated on his wife, I guess you like adulterers.... yeah Lebron is just such a terrible guy bc he made a few smart remarks and he wanted to win more than anyone
