I actually think the Jets are the only team that can beat NE in that division. Jets have solid lines and if they can get any decent QB play I could see them winning 9 games which may be enough this year.

The Jets looked kind of sad last year. What changes have happened to make you think that has changed?

Honestly?? Nothing. BUT the Jets have more talent than Miami and Buffalo and Sanchez ( despite his lack of performance over the last few years) has at least shown the ability to win games at the NFL level which is more than I can say for Tannehill or Kevin Kolb or EJ Manuel. Didnt say I thought the Jets WOULD compete, just that they have a better shot than the Fins or Bills.

You do not see the Seahawks making the playoffs even as a wildcard? Mmmmm we'll see. I think it's more likely the Lions miss the playoffs then the Seahawks. Seahawks were good last year and then loaded up in the off season.

The Lions on the other hand are in a division that will be won by the Packers IMO and then the rest are neck and neck for second place.

A lot of you putting Seattle at one is extremely optomistic.

Could be, but seeing how we were good last year and loaded up in the off season the future looks good. 49ers are going to be tough no doubt, but does anyone expect Seahawks fans to concede to them? No of course not, it's the off season, even the Jets fans are hopeful.

Yeah, I'd put Seattle in and the Lions OUT. The Lions still have a long way to go. And I do like the Lions, just don't see them any better than 9-7, if they are even able to pull that off. Which I doubt. More like 8-8.

Yeah I got to agree with you, Falcons are going win that division. Love Bree's but it takes more then a great QB and a good HC. Atlanta just is a much more well rounded team!

So you see the Steelers who were 8-8 last year beating out the SB champs and the up and coming Bengals? Really? The Steelers lost some good skill players in the off season.

I don't see it..at all.

Boy, somebody is awfully full of their Falcons... ATL is the deeper team, but New Orleans trumps them by a mile at the most important position on the field...

Didn't seem to help them much last year. I know they got their head coach back, but what upgrades have they made to put them above the Falcons?

I think Tampa Bay or Carolina is going to win the NFC South. The Saints defense was atrocious and hasn't gotten any better. The hiring of Ryan probably made it worse. Go look at his defenses, they aren't good. I do think that Atlanta is the best team in the division, it's just that even good teams don't have that much consistency unless their division is no good.

NFC
1. Packers
2. Cowboys
3. Carolina
4. Rams
5. Lions
6. Seahawks

Rams and Seahawks are tossups for who wins that division IMO. I see a fall off for the 49ers. I think that both Minnesota and Chicago took steps back in the offseason. If the Rams can get anyone to step out at receiver they are dangerous. Carolina has possibly the best playmaker quarterback in the game and one of the best defensive players. They are going to put it together sooner or later. Cowboys finally meet their talent level with wins.

AFC

1. Broncos
2. Texans
3. Bengals
4. Dolphins
5. Chiefs
6. Patriots
