:agree:

too many people just trying their damndest to just HAND the Heat a title...

I say we end the season and hand Miami the title. It seems all were doing right now is risking further injuries to the players.

I may agree with Fauge here...the heat have a potent line up, HCA plus the NBA Refs and the League on their side...there is no stopping that trifecta, especially the refs advantage.

"Everyone" knows nothing. AFTER the Heat win the thing I will know it. Until then I don't.
Miami beat Indy last year. Miami is deeper than they were last year and Indy isnt as deep as they were last year.

Miami is going to be a heavy favorite.

Being a heavy favorite is not equal to beating the Pacers 4 times. Not even close. I prefer to wait until then to give the Heat any kind of a championship.

I wouldn't go that far.

At first all the newsies were saying that Miami would not lose a game in the playoffs. Well, surprise, surprise, Miami can lose and has lost. And the Bulls came close to beating them in Game 5. They are not unbeatable. That much has been proven to me.

Whether anybody can beat them 4 times or not I don't know but I am not ready to hand them the championship on a silver platter. They will have to earn it before I will acknowledge that it belongs to them.

We shall see.

Honestly the pacers are better this year because the defense is #1 in the league and they have a rising star in paul george

:agree: And Roy Hibbett defends the paint like no other in the game right now.

i have to admit that the guy's improved a LOT. and Miami has no one that they can match up in the middle against him(including Bosh. my guess is the Heat would try to get him out to the mid-range area to get him to try and cover him there so he isn't on the low block too much...

The Knicks got him to commit a lot of stupid fouls early in the game so he sat out most of Game 5. His inexperience may get the best of him in the fouling dept.

I have no doubt that the Heat will try to get him in foul trouble early in every game. He is going to have to discipline himself in a hurry for that series. The Heat do not play stupid basketball.

They just gave a stat that indicates why the Pacers are unlikely to beat Miami!! The Pacers have turned the ball over 36 more times in this series than the Knicks!!

They can get away with that vs. the Knicks, but if they do that against Miami, it will be a very short series!!

Yeah, you are right, I had forgotten about that. The big thing is that the Knicks rarely turn it over. The Pacers do a lot of idiotic things with the BB. Miami might just be able to take them in 4.

Knicks turned over the ball the least in the whole nba. Pacers turned it over the 8th most in the nba. But pacers have championship caliber defense the knicks dont

Yeah, the saving grace vs. the Knicks is that the Pacers are killing them on the boards!! They should have a similar advantage vs. the Heat, but the Heat are probably the best in the league at making teams pay for turning the ball over.
