I actually think the opposite is coming. Miami over Spurs/Grizz in 4/5 isn't going to have much appeal after Game 2.Any way you cut it, we're set for a great Finals, IMO.

Big business says otherwise.Any Finals without the heat is a win win and a watchable series for most NBA fans.![]()
Final numbers for the first three games puts the Thunder-Heat series as ABC's most-watched NBA Finals, averaging 16.1 million viewers per game. The three-game 9.7 average rating is up 7% over last year's 9.1 and is up 5% in viewership compared to last year's three-game average. The 9.7 average rating is the highest since Pistons-Lakers in '04. Sunday night's Thunder-Heat Game Three recorded an 8.8 rating (NBA).
People actually didnt know whether the Heat or Thunder were better before last year's Finals. Everyone knows the Heat are far and away the best team this year. There is a big difference. Everyone is just kinda hoping that the matchup problems that teams like the Pacers present will give the Heat troubles but that puts the NBA in a catch 22 because the teams that could theoretically beat the Heat are all 'boring' and small marketBig business says otherwise.
I know your just saying everyone to be general but the Heat can be beat by a couple of teams and I know I'm not the only one that thinks like that. If Memphis makes it then there will be alot of people watching. Mostly Heat lovers/haters and Memphis fans.People actually didnt know whether the Heat or Thunder were better before last year's Finals. I think everyone knows the Pacers are one of the teams that can beat the Heat but most people assume no matter how tough the series is that the Heat will win.I dont know why people are sleeping on the pacers, they are an elite defensive team and have a star in paul george with david west being a very good player too.

I don't think the Pacers have enough fire power to beat the Heat. The Heat, unlike the Knicks are also an elite defensive team. I think they would have a much better chance if they had kept Collison. I'd also expect Lebron to be on George and that isn't a good thing for George.

"Everyone" knows nothing. AFTER the Heat win the thing I will know it. Until then I don't.
