Bk, last time I checked, the playoffs were about matchups, I dont give a damn about all those stats. They mean little when it comes to playoffs.

And the Spurs were 3-1 against the Lakers in the regular season but yeah all of sudden they were going to lose 4 of 7 to the Lakers who couldn't beat a good team on the road this season.

Not really, those same experts saw the Lakers in the finals too. The Lakers don't even match up well with the Spurs either.

The Spurs are too quick and too potent offensively and the Lakers defense was straight up horrible. The ONLY way the Lakers would have won was if Howard dominated and he can't post up to save his life. The Lakers were horrible defensively this year, how do you figure they would have beaten the Spurs who are one of the best offensive teams in the league?

Dantoni is a terrible coach who fails to make adjustment in the playoffs.

On top of that Dwight is an overrated center

The Bulls have been more injury plagued than the Lakers I don't think that is debatable, but the Bulls are coached well and play with heart and passion. The Lakers are not coached well and don't play with heart.

I have not seen that many Bulls games this year but looking at their roster the only person I see is Rose. Noah is playing through his injury, Taj and Deng are only sick. Heinrich hurts. But the Nets are no where near as good as the Spurs. The Lakers were missing every one of their starting and bench guards, Pau was playing hurt, Dwight wasn't 100% most of the season, Ron Artest and his bionic knee, Jordan Hill our main energy guy off the bench, Blake was hurt for a while. Need I name any more??? Goudelock didn't even play for the Lakers this year (I don't even think he played for a team) before we were asking him to be one of our main scorers, Morris got garbage time minutes all year. I would have to say the Lakers were more banged up.

Howard and Bryant were there pretty much all year long.

Howard was recovering from injury. Our best player Kobe Bryant had to compensate for D'Antoni's system and become full time point guard since Nash was hurt. He had a great season but he was forced to carry the load for too long and it resulted in the season ending injury. Howard did not look like he enjoyed the offense at all. I mean the players went back to the triangle on their own for a while!

Because it was obvious that even with Kobe the Spurs were going to beat the Lakers

You are going by how they played defense the whole year, im going by how they played it towards the end of the year, which was better, but still needed improvement. Howard and Gasol would also have a easier time dominating the paint, when the Spurs have to worry about Kobe, Nash, and Blake on the outside.
