So AP has a crazy goal this year of 2500 yards. (Ponder hasn't said it, but I bet he has a crazy goal of 2500 yards, too.)

And can Sanchez get any luckier? Last year he had to compete with a guy who can lead but can't throw, and this year he has to compete with a guy who can throw but can't lead. Great set-up for a guy who can kinda throw and can barely lead.

Oh, woeful Jets.

should just cut the poor dude, eat the salary, give the ball to Garrard until it's obvious that they'll have a top five pick in 2014, than give Geno an evaluation.
Just get it over with already.

Of course the problem is Rex will scrap for wins to hang on a little longer.... That's why unless a team is very solid and simply underperforming the "coach on a hot seat" is counterproductive to a team's growth.

So... just leaving from last year Keller, a decent D, and an OK O-line? Sounds like improvement to me.

Thinking about Romo... I imagine he's been limited by a belief in his own miraculousness - you know, that he can do something incredible to save a game or a season, which he's done a couple of times. But just as often he does something both unbelievably athletic and completely idiotic (running out of the pocket and throwing across his body as he's being tackled right in the direction of a receiver but also easily picked off). On the other hand his support of Dez was stellar and shows he can really lead his team. My question is whether he's going to grow out of his I'll-just-go-into-superhero-mode-later mindset, and be a little wiser, now that the fate of the franchise is squarely on his shoulders, or is it too deeply ingrained in who he is?

Good question. .... although the QB is ultimately held accountable for wins & losses, the guy really hasn't had much help. The running game has always been iffy since they can't seem to find a guy who can stay healthy. Same goes for WR. The o-line is, and has been, average at best. That said, it seems the fumbled extra pt try years ago more or less has been his trademark. I think he often tries too hard to make up for some of the other team weaknesses. IF Murray, Dez, Witten stay healthy and the oline plays well, he will do well. If not, look for more of the same. ....

I kind of like Romo. Not sure why? I think it was ESPN radio that asked who do you blame more, Romo or Cutler. (This was in 2011. I guess both were having their fair share of troubles.) There was dislike for both QB's from callers.

But to me, if you were going to assess "blame" like the question asked, you'd have to lean more towards Romo. Why? Because Romo has the OC, the O-line, and the weapons (Witten, Austin and Bryant). Cutler has had how many coordinators?, a pourous O-line, and Hester and Knox as targets (in 2010).

Given each's situation, Romo is in a much better position to succeed IMO. So my long-winded answer to Wil's question, is yes, it is more ingrained in Romo's head - PLUS he was just awarded $$$ which probably solidifies his opinion of himself.

There's ago many didn't things you can point to and say "that's what's wring with Romo"..my personal fav is that Brett Favre is his idol, the only problem is, he isn't Favre, nor are his teamates the Green Bay Packers

Bottom line though, with weapons like Dez, Austin, Witten, Murray, and a head coach who is a former QB and has no issues throwing the ball all day long, not to mention a still porous defense...and Romo, like him or not, is still gonna be top 15 fantasy QB. More than good enough to start most weeks

My best guesses:

There's a good many different things you can point to and say "that's what's wrong with Romo"

There's egomania diddling things you can point to and say "that's what's wrong with Romo"

Jerry's a goat man who did things you can point to and say "that's what's wrong with Romo"

Years ago midichlorians pointed and said "that's what's wrong with Romo"

Theresa Gomez did things you can point to and say "that's what's wrong with Romo" (whoever that is... maybe a Jessica Simpson alias?)

(The rest makes a lot of sense though.)

Like I said, we can draft right here - that's the only thing we'd have to wait until June for. I can finish setting up the league now and we could start drafting right away... we still have two spots up in the air, though... Duff is standing by to fill one if needed; the other is/was Foot's. Maybe Tlance is interested?

If we do draft here how do we decide on draft order?

Id be all for it. Just wonder how it would play out almost like a live event draft if we did it on the message board

Yeah, it would be fun. For draft order, I can either generate one randomly or we could go by something else, like last year's standings, or who misses Foot the most.

How would we do the draft if we draft here?

I'm all for Foot getting the first pick as I'm sure he misses himself the most.........plus, with Chris Johnson, Mike Wallace, Kaps and Lamar Miller his first 4 picks that will be good for us, right?
