Twas wondering where you were. Thought I was wasting my time here.

"Twas" is not used correctly in your post. By using that, you're insinuating "It was wondering where you were", and that makes no sense.

Vince Young at #1 is a fucking Joke.

The best QB in the BCS era has never been shut out.

Whoever the best is, I can 100% assure you he has never lead his team to ZERO Points in a Game, let alone the biggest game for him of 2004....

If I had to pick ONE of those quarterbacks to win a football game for my team, it would be Vince Young

No no no......lets find some insignificant stat that makes whatever player you like look bad and harp on it like it has any meaning whatsoever. Especially when the game he's crying about VY didn't even start in........

VY owns Tebow when it comes to this. Tebow lost more than twice as many games as VY, who led at the time the highest scoring offense in NCAA history. It's really a no brainer.

You want to win a one game scenario, you take VY. Only other logical choice is possibly Cam Newton.

Tebow also had quite a few more college starts, if I remember correctly, and he was playing in a much harder conference. In VY's 2 years as a starter at Texas, there were only 5 combined other Big XII schools to finish ranked. There were 4 other ranked SEC teams in just Tebow's first year starting at Florida. Plus, the Big XII has always produced high scoring offenses. Not a dig at VY, the dude was a star no doubt. However, saying he "owns Tebow" is pretty short-sighted.

Not really. Tebow has had some HORRID bowl games. He lost to Michigan. The only bowl game he was excellent in, was against Cincinnatti.

VY destroyed top ranked teams. He had no easy bowl games like facing Cincy, he beat Michigan and the "greatest team of all time" USC.

I'm not trying to denigrate Tebow......but statistically and logically, this should be a no-brainer of a choice.

VY owns him in this particular area. If you need to win ONE game, you go with the guy that doesn't lose his conference title game and cry about it on TV......you go with the guy that doesn't lose at home to an unranked team. You go with the guy that put up some of the greatest stats in bowl games.

"He" didn't lose to Michigan. He couldn't play defense, too. He had 4 TDs and no turnovers. What the hell else do you want from him? That was far from a horrible performance. VY had 5 TDs and an INT against Michigan. How is that such a better performance?

He had two picks against Oklahoma in the title game, yes, but he also had 2 TDs and he ran for over 100 yards. Last I checked, they also won that game, so why don't you give him credit for that?

Then yes, he destroyed Cincinnati, but I hardly see how that's a knock on him.

It's pretty ignorant to rip on Tebow for crying. He was a passionate player who was upset at how poorly he played. I'd much rather have a guy like that than some punk who blames other people when he plays poorly.

I give VY all the credit in the world for what he did in college. His 05 campaign was legendary. However, Tebow's 08 title year was better.

I think this is a toss-up, and I'm an unbiased observer.

Nothing wrong with that position......but as I said, I'll take the guy that doesn't lose in bowl games, and was better statistically. Tebow was a great player. But he was no VY.

Hell, I'd take Cam Newton over Tebow as well, if we're talking a ONE game scenario.

Dennis Dixon was a great college quarterback.

I watched the game where he went down and knew right then and there that he would quickly be forgotten about. Sucks, but it's the reality of it.

He just signed with Chip at the Eagles. I am VERY interested to see how he does in Philly and if he ever gets a shot how good he could or might be. He was crap before Chip came in '07, but Dixon's SR year, which was 2007 when Chip first arrived he all of a sudden became a GREAT college QB on his way to a heisman campaign.

So I wonder if Chip can do the same with him in the NFL. Obviously transforming an NFL qb is a different animal, but will be fun to see if it can be done.
