They were my last team out. I just don't Know if they're good, they're defense needs work, but I easily could've ranked them instead of ou

They will be favored to win the remainder of their games except the SCar game this year...

I understand that, they should be. But I only ranked 2 one-loss teams and I don't think Clemson is better than southern cal. I thought about ranking Nebraska, michigan state, and Clemson, but I went with Oklahoma because I think they are all about just as good an Kansas state is better than FSU.

I think the ND bias is finally fading, how they're not in the top 10 is beyond me. Ranked 11th last week and having Clemson and OU losing, they should have moved up to at least the 9 spot. Holding both Michigan teams to a combined 9 points is no easy task. The top 4 teams are all loaded, even despite LSU's close call. Oregon's offense might be the most exciting unit in football, college or pro.

Maybe now voters are biased against Notre dame :noidea:

What's the thought behind ranking FSU in the top 5 and throwing Clemson out of the top 25? If FSU appears to be that good and Clemson gave them a pretty good run for their money, how is Clemson not worthy of Top 25? Just curious.

Because Clemson lost...I ranked the undefeated teams that have an argument for being in the top 25 and i took looked at the one loss teams and stuck them in where i thought they fit. Mich. State, Southern Cal, Oklahoma, Clemson, Nebraska, UCLA were all one loss teams that l looked into ranking. I also had Louisiana Tech, and Cincinnati as the undefeateds. None of these teams had good wins (Southern Cal was excused though because they had an injury and i think they are really good). Oklahoma, Clemson, and Michigan State all lost to top ten teams. I took out Louisiana Tech and Cincinnati and added Southern Cal and Oklahoma (KSU > FSU). If i was ranking teams based on who would beat who the poll would be completely different and ill probably start doing that next week. Ill post it in the discussion poll for this week just cause.

For the most part, my poll is based off of winning percentage. It is purely undefeated teams. As the season moves on, they will move up as other teams lose.

Curious as to why these polls do not have Clemson ranked; the others that don't only have undefeated teams...

Honestly I copied another posters poll and switched teams around, didn't notice I didn't rank Clemson. Oops...:minion:

I'm not too worried about it, we will still continue to move up the polls (as we win) and control our own destiny. I was very surprised we didn't move up further after forcing Robinson into the worst game of his career, but I guess it was cause 'Bama had already undressed scUm week one...

I knew i would leave out somebody. They should go between West Virginia and Ohio State, at #10. Fixed it.

I ranked Tennessee high after the first week, but I expected Florida to win the game between them. So is auburn good or bad? I didn't think LSU was impressive at all in that game, and you said Baylor shouldn't be ranked because it took them a miracle to beat ULM (who beat Arkansas and went into overtime against auburn). I'm not going to pick and choose which weeks auburn is considered good and which ones they aren't.

So you ranked TN high and expect UF to beat them and now that UF beat them, TN is not a good win and sucks?

Does anyone get uncfan103's logic because I sure as HELL don't?

This is what is wrong with America, nobody is intelligent anymore. No wonder we will likely have 4 more years of a President who has wrecked our economy and foreign policy.

Would you rather me rank teams based on how good i think they are, how good they are based on their resume, or a little bit of both? Seriously?

Tennessee had a better resume at the beginning of the year, but that doesnt make them better than Florida (it makes them more deserving of a higher ranking though).
