Just curious 24seven, but why is Nebraska ranked ahead of UCLA using that system? UCLA beat Nebraska and their loss is to a team that is ranked (the same loss as Wisconsin)

I use the 25 teams already in the coaches poll as the baseline (at this point). In a couple more weeks I'll start including the "also received votes" teams. Too lazy to do all of that now.

To those of you that have Okie Lite ranked (2-1) but yet don't have UA ranked (3-1) can you please explain how you justify that? UA trucked Okie Lite.

Ok I have several issues with most peoples polls

1. Why is Kansas State so LOW in many polls? They just knocked of Oklahoma in Norman. Very few teams do that. They play tough defense like an SEC team.

2. Why is Ohio State ranked? They nearly lost to crappy Cal and UAB. Please. Plus they can't go to a bowl game. Some people have them in the 10-12 range.

3. Baylor? Somebody has them in the top ten when it took a miracle for them to get by a Sunbelt team.

4. Iowa State? Huh? What? Never heard of them so why are they in the poll.

5. Why is Florida so low? They beat a 3-1 TN team and a now 2-1 A&M team on the road and shut out UK last week. Why are they not in the top ten?

6. Why is there a retard that has TCU and Baylor ahead of Kansas State and didn't even rank Oklahoma? I might as well rank Vandy and UK ahead of Florida and LSU because that is how stupid this voter looks.

No B1G teams because that league is just horrible. Iowa State? What is an Iowa State and why are people putting them in their top 25? Baylor could barely put away UL Monroe, sorry not deserving. Also what is the love for Ohio State? They almost lost to Cal and the UNIVERSITY OF FREAKING ALABAMA-BIRGMINGHAM at home. Gosh the voters in this poll are dense.

I agree with what you said, but I think after the 12th place team people just throw teams around.


Why is Boise St. even in the top 25? And why is ND not in everyone's at least top 12? I know I'm a homer but based on what they've done on the field this year against a better schedule than most team's I don't know how you can defend not putting them in there.

Eastern Michigan is an FBS team that almost beat Mich St. and Purdouche took them to the woodshed. And FWIW they did give ND a scare at home, whereas Mich St. and scUM never tied the score.

That "always overrated" OU team was just voted the #1 team of the BCS era. Evidently they are better than you think. Conference titles and MNC game appearances say otherwise. The hate for OU is unreal if you consider those last two facts.

Sooners, of course you are going to be ranked high if polls love you so much. OU snuck in the title game in 2008, 2004, and 2003 when they were undeserving.
