also an update, i forget who suggested sitting in the driver's seat, pushing out with my feet on the bottom of the door, and pulling the top of the door, but that worked.

I am glad it worked. Mine was almost unnoticeable to look at but if it poured rain or if I was in a car wash it would leak a bit. I also think there was a wind noise when I drove fast.
When I would pull it it would stop all that. Don't be surprised if it works its way back a bit and you have to pull it back in a few months.

got pissed at the dealer and the 1 i wanted was too hard to find

the ilx interior is incredible though.. i can basically do anything i would want to from a car, without getting anything out of my pockets.. start the car, call someone, play pandora, play itunes.. its awesome

lol.. if i do go with the 'jump in' method, i will probably leave the doors un-welded, just in case someone not as nimble as myself wants to go for a ride haha

haha every car i've driven with the flappy paddles just didn't give me the right response time.. there was always too much delay in it for me

plus anyone can drive the flappy paddles, this way i dont have to lend my car to anyone

Top Gear said that Audi's flappy paddles work the best. This is the first car I've had with them, and I love it. Very snappy.

Manual transmission, pass. Had one when I had my second car in high school, and vowed to NEVER get one again. It was a '78 Vette.....

that was one of my dad's primary reason for teaching us all how to drive on a stick.. he said in other countries renting an automatic is almost impossible..
