Ads on NHL jerseys?

Maybe we should make this a poll question? As long as the ad is small, I wouldn't object to it (especially if it helps keep ticket prices down). I wouldn't want to see a situation where the entire jersey and helmet is plastered with logos (like you see over in Europe). What do you guys think?

i dont think it will ... ticket prices are driven by supply demand ... owners will just pocket the ad revenue

I can live with smaller ads on shoulder patches or the bottoms of jerseys, but that's as far as I could budge to keep fan-cost down. The helmets in Europe look ridiculous, and the jersey banners look just as bad.

Unfortunately it's only a matter of time. They've already started taking up more and more ads on the ice so it's only a matter of time before we see ads on the jerseys. Brodeur even said a few years ago he though goalies should wear ads on their uniforms like in soccer. It's going to be a sad day when it happens, then we'll all get over it with time.
