Guardians owner should be shot. That organization and fanbase deserves so much more. A salary cap throws dopes like him a lifeline.
Honestly, don't even get why he'd buy a sports team when it's just about money and no will to win. Seems there would be better ways to earn yearly profits.

I mean, team needs SPs and they resurrect Boyd who pitches great in the postseason. $29 mil for 2 seasons is too much to spend to keep him? Never mind the garbage they trot out in CF, RF, SS and 2B

Miami would be stupid to include Ware. If they don't get KD it's not the end of the world, he is still a great player but he is definitely aging. I believe they can still get him without Ware.

More importantly…

Are they contenders with him?

I know they're friends but what a bunch of nothing for one of the best players in the game.

I guess it isn’t impossible…

But they were pretty far off that mark this season. And KD is not the franchise changing talent he used to be.

Not saying it is impossible. But I wouldn’t be betting on it.

Jimmy Butler completely fucked the season by his antics. Traded for Wiggins who was never healthy didn’t help either

Durant is a better player than Jimmy and is a better fit for Bam than Jimmy was as well. I think not dealing with that drama and adding a player like KD would automatically give them 6 more wins at minimum

Unfortunately that’s only 43 wins

And minimal avenues to upgrade

I'm holding firm if I'm Miami and not including Ware. Their package without him is actually the better package because its the only one that can get the Suns out of repeater tax hell. Duncan Robinson's deal is partially guaranteed. If they waive him, they can drop under the 2nd apron. Any other deal for Durant (Minny, SA, Houston), they are still stuck on the 2nd apron and will need to dump players elsewhere to get under. If they stay in the 2nd apron this season, that'll be 3 straight years in it and the penalties are severe. Miami needs to use that leverage to their advantage. They have the only rumored deal on the table that can actually give the Suns some breathing room. Keep Ware out, maybe throw in another draft pick if needed, but hold firm.
I believe Minnesota was working on a 3 team trade with the Nets. Likely to allow the Suns to take back far less in cap in the trade.

I am surprised none of the teams KD wants to go to have not looked tried the same thing. Suns lost a lot of leverage when KD eliminated all but 2 teams from his list.

The Celtics can’t die to cap rules (couldve during the season because iirc jrue zinger would’ve gotten them out of the second apron)

It’s hard because you don’t know how much he has have left

And he’s moody af about his homes

You can’t mortgage the farm for him

Clippers still on the periphery here if they market falls enough
