Well, the supply of good NBA coaches seems to have declined. Nobody appears to be taking a risk on an assistant coaches for the vacant HC spots presently in the NBA.

All they do is recycle, teams need to think more out of the box.

The best NBA coaches rarely come from college ranks.

Traditionally the college coaches that have made the jump struggle more often than not.
Not a single all time great coach got going in college coaching first, except the GOAT Larry Brown

JJ Reddick some positive evidence there. Steve Nash not so much. Steve Kerr was an outside the box hire but that was a while ago they don’t seem to try stuff like that anymore

I wouldn't either.

Wiggans, Robinson, Jovic and a couple 1st rounders would be the highest I'd go.
Wiggins gonna be thrown around the league as salary filler for the rest of his career

New York Knicks should think outside the box and finally give Laimbeer a shot.
He'd at least crack some clipboards over heads for Pasta

Unreal how teams keep going after him. Give up a ton for him, team underachieves, then deal him away for less to another team who thinks they will make it work out.
Talent is enticing, and he's one of the few big names you can bring in so your casual fans think you're doing something useful.

Everyone wants to be the GOAT level Warriors, why not trade for one of those guys lol

I don’t think KD is to blame for what happened with the Nets or Suns. KD isn’t the GM.

I guess.....At point with him wouldn't my team to trade anyone we cared about for him.

Maybe Bogut can play the TT role for us?

Mike Brown is a fine coach.

He is not the guy you get to replace Thibs when one of the main complaints was lack of offensive creativity.

Knicks have aspirations to be a contender.

Do you think a safe hire like Mike Brown is enough to get them there?

I agree they can do worse.
Yeah, Mike Brown isn't helping to improve that offense.

But, he could bring an assistant coach to help the offense. Not sure who is available that could do that though.
