Limited comments so far, but Dallas fans pretty much as baffled as Kings fans at their coach. Jim Hiller was running away with "Worst Coach of the Playoffs" honors until Deboer stepped in.

Jill tops him easy imo. Stars where never even in this series....outside of the 3rd in game 1 thry didnt even do anything. While absurd to pull Ottenger in that game it was basically 3g on 3 shots (ya they bounced it off him 3 or 4 times before 3rd g went in. Not playing Dadonov last 2 or 3 games was a mistake imo also. But the reality is Dallas barely had any good scoring chances and swaping Otty out he at least got more goals in that game than the other 3 games combined lol. Not scoring thst badly was all on the players really..

Betting lines are literally 50/50 for this series, which is so interesting. +115 is what I saw yesterday for both teams.

Also reading a bunch of articles I probably should've posted here, but interesting to read from local Edmonton and Florida news. Edmonton giving out free tattoos at games, whole this Panthers run of 3 straight finals appearances has them pushing for being the 2nd most popular team in Miami. Maybe challenging the heat to be behind the Buccaneers.

It's 20% of the cap, so as it goes up so does the max salary a player can make annually.

Just for reference:
2025-26/$95.5 million/$19.1 million AAV
2026-27/$104 million/$20.8 million AAV
2027-28/$113.5 million/$22.7 million AAV

The floor percentage still remains, all teams must be at 42.5% of the ceiling per season minimum. Crazy to think in 2005-06 when the cap came in it was $39 million, a team could get away paying $16.575 million total.

Your $15 million AAV was when the cap was $75,000,000 which was 2017-18, McJesus needed a new contract so that number was thrown around everywhere, the max for that cap. He signed in July 2017 8 years/$100 million ($12.5 million AAV), took less than he could have.

Dude is going to get a substantial raise on this next contract, going to be nutty seeing a guy making close to $20 million a season.

Biggest hits of May 2025, the Petrovic on Brown one I think is my favorite. Dude got absolutely decleated,.left the game and and didn't play in G5 allowing Arvdisson to be reinserted. Looks like concussion city.


I didn't see a single hit involving Kings giving one or getting one...then remembered their season ended on May 1.

I see he learned something from Jill, how ro make poor challenge decisions and flip a lead into a deficit in a matter minutes.

2-1 Panthers, love it. I want to see someone decleat McJesus or Draisaitl.

If you can argue it either way, dont challenge. ...seems simple. If its the end of game or series then do it if it wont matter if you lose anyway

OT it is, good way to start the SCF. Bennett has been a monster, he is going to be very sought after this summer. Kings would not have stood a chance against Florida had they made it, just an animal of a team built for PO hockey. Clarke would be pissing in his diaper seeing the attack coming.

He's exactly the type of player LA needs but that probably means moving Dunno out and leaving the C positions as Kopitar, Bennett, Buster and Helenius. A OK with me, it's an improvement.

I think this is the end for Buster, 6 years in an organization, babied to death, dude takes a dump and it makes the intermission highlights, over it. It's gotta be 75 points minimum or move him out next summer.

Junior II broke his right wrist crashing on his ebike - yeah the one he just got like 10 days ago - so I've been in the ER until now. Kid had to knocked out ans his wrist snapped back into place, Pop Warner season isn't happening for him in 7 weeks. What a crap way to start his summer, he gets out of school next Thursday.

Looks like the Panthers have their hands full this Final, have to get a win here and a split.
