Thibs will be fired

6/3/25
It's pretty sad that Thibs has coached this team to more success than they have seen in a quarter of a century, over achieved in the playoffs taking down the defending champions, and you want him fired.

Good luck finding a coach who can lead this team to greater success.

You mean because it was just in the "paper" today? Or because you think I care if the Knicks won or not last night? Just trying to follow your logic.

https://nypost.com/2025/05/28/sport...sing-details-of-knicks-postgame-incident/just came today?
Because it sounds like it is a guy getting on about them beating the Celtics, which was a little while ago now, and now they are on the cusp of elimination not looking s hot.

(does anyone outside of NYC even look at the Post?)

This series exposed Thibs

The hypocrisy on here never disappoints !

I’m the only one on here who defended him

Y’all let me have it everyday about his 6 - 7 man rotations and that it exhausts his starters. Well what is it?

BBaller posted it took 14 games for Thibs to go deep into his bench, you think the time to do that was in the ECF’s?

I said all year, get Robinson more involved, he does that 14 games into PS?

Anyway , doesn’t matter , thibs is gone

And , hats off to the Pacers, the better team

It’s their year, and some of you need to see the magic in the pacers, I posted they will top anything the Knicks do, and they will do same to their next opponent.

You know the BEST TEAM, lol

Thibs does have a rep for overplaying his starters, fair or not. However, it wasn't like he had depth to go to in the past.
Robinson was injured much of the season. Hard to incorporate him in the offense from the bench. But you have also said that Robinson is so horrible he should never play in the past. Either way, he lacks much offensive ability at this point so it may be more about skill that is driving his use the way you want.
You do also realize that matchups can dictate player usage as well. Knicks won the first two rounds, now they are losing to the Pacers, of course he's going to try something new.
Thibs shouldn't be gone unless you have some coach who will be in the Hall of Fame lined up.

KAT is not the answer for this team. They are a few peeps away from being dangerous.

They are in the ECF after taking down the Celtics in the first year of this roster construction while having some injuries all year. I'd say they are very close to being dangerous if they are not already.

Hali doesn't get that very favorable bounce Game 1 and it is an entirely different series.

Yes I have posted Robinson was awful, what do you see when he is at the foul line?

He still has some attributes, good hands , and Thibs hardly took advantage of it, should have been more pick and rolls and back door cuts…

Regardless of injury , Thibs ain’t no strategist on either end of court , so him being injured got nothin to do with it

Ya know, I don’t want to
Contradict what I been sayin all along about there not being enough good minds in the game today , so hard to say who would be the better coach. Still say Spolstra only one left

You keep saying Spoelstra like he available. There is zero indication that he is.

I think you will come to appreciate Thibs once you don't have him any longer.

The Knicks need a draymond green, no fookin way Halliburton would have gotten a shot to the body early on in series ,

he was way too f n comfortable out there

Appreciate what, you were the one who said I under appreciated his defense?

Where was it in this series, pacers scored at will… it was so easy to score on the Knicks, he tried nothing to stop it, NOTHING. You can’t keep pace with a team like the pacers unless you’re as athletic as OKC

The Pacers are very good offensively, they always put up a lot of points. You do underappreciate Thibs defense and are now underappreciating Indiana's offense.
Thibs has been trying to make adjustments to slow Indiana down. Just a few posts up you comment that he is going deeper into his bench finally. Just because it is not working doesn't mean he isn't doing it. Indiana is just not a good matchup for the Knicks. There was a reason I wanted the Pistons to play the Knicks in the first round over matching up against the Pacers.

Nah. No chance of that.

He will just move on to asking for the next coach to be fired.

It is what he does.

Pasta might be related to Steinbrenner.
