Chargers oline was 10th against the pass but like 27th against the run...although some of that might have to do with them predictably running a lot.It's not a stat thing. You have to watch him play. He's had nothing and has had some crappy OL play too. Put him on a good team and you will see them dominate. Guy makes at least one throw a game every single time I've watched him that makes me think not many guys could have done that. He's just an incredible thrower of the football. The closest to Marino in the league today IMO. There may be better QBs, but no one throws the football better.
Herbert had a good rookie year and followed it up as a top 5 QB. Since then every year has been a different excuse but I could reasonably think most GMs would believe the excuses.
