But the Packers drafted Savion Williams too. They seem to load up on WR and then not feature any of them regularly.
They don’t use 1sts on them though. I’m thinking this breaks the pattern.

Why did Ollie take such a tumble? In February he was ranked as the RB9. In April, he was RB11. Post draft he was RB16.
He had that DWI in 2024 so he’d need to interview well to offset that. And his combine was meh.

4.61 40 in the combine probably took him off a lot of boards altogether.
Post draft, landing on the 'Phins, behind Achane, J. Wright and Alexander Mattison, as a 6th rd pick means he'll be lucky to make the team.. he should probably be even lower than 16

Slowest 40-time by RB in 2022: Kyren Williams, Notre Dame – 4.65

And he was drafted in the 5th, as the 15th RB, and barely played at all his rookie year, probably considered, by many, to be lucky to make the team behind Akers and Henderson.

That's what happens to RB's who run a 4.6+

I never said that it was a death sentence, just that that is what happens ;)

Yeah it makes sense. Everything has to go right for their situation to work out. Needle in a haystack

If there is some concern that Judkins will split touches with Sampson, why is he ranked ahead of Kaleb Johnson?

Kaleb Johnson has a more proven committee member (J. Warren) than Judkins does. It's much more of a probability that Warren takes important touches away than it is that Sampson does

And sadly, an offense led by Joe Flacco, is more appealing than one currently led by Mason Rudolph.

I doubt PIT stands firm on Rudolph. Especially if the Rodgers and Cousinsntrade rumors are legit.
Even if PIT rolls with Rudolph, a team with an average QB suggests more RB touches to me.

As do i, but, I would assume the rankings are based on how things stand at the moment. Should they deal for Cousins, i might change my thoughts. Rodgers wouldn't move the needle for me

I don't think a 40y old Flacco suggests any more focus on a passing game than Rudolph would.. only assumption I would make is that he'd be slightly better at it when they do, which theoretically, should lead to a more efficient offense overall...theoretically

I also think PIT's impressive track record of rolling out the most uninspiring QB candidates to replace BigBen since his retirement have rightfully depressed their dynasty values.

In today's game you have to get pretty lucky with right team/right fit/right coach to hit on QB that fall outside the top 10-ish range

Just looked at my handy dandy chart of distribution... if Indy's numbers are any indicator of Flacco's influence, the RB distribution (touches) was exactly at the league average 45%. And that's with Taylor as the RB1. Since, CLE may split carries as it sorts out the QB situation, seems PIT may still be a better option of Judkins vs Kaleb.
PIT on the handy dandy chart was 52%, second highest in the league (behind DET 54%).

When your QB runs 100+ times, takes opportunities from the RB's. Fields (62 carries) and Wilson (43), won't be around to do that any longer.

Wonder what that RB distribution was for Colts games with Flacco (9 carries), vs Colts games with Richardson (86 carries)

Or we could just look at the numbers from the last time Flacco ran this same offense? 5 games of slinging it if memory is accurate

I feel more confident with Tomlin too. That guy gets players to play.
