I don’t understand what PIT is doing here. They replace DK with Pickens and pay him a shit ton. Upgrade, yes, but DK doesn’t have help around him like in Seattle.

It’s going to be defense and running game, like the Browns. I am critical of CLE but at least they acquired another 1st to possibly be set up for QB next year. I’m not sure an old Rodgers does anything for this team…like you said, borderline playoff team and mediocre draft pick

Who would've thought that after the initial wave of free agency, and then the draft, that 2 teams (PIT and NO) could potentially have a bidding war for a starting QB, i.e. Cousins.

Besides, the roster is in bad shape- the Saints are a bottom 2-3 bet to win the SB this year, and that was BEFORE Carr retired. No point in going all in on an aged QB.. be it Cousins or Rodgers.

Smart play is to let the youngsters have the job, see what they've got, and start planning for 26 and beyond.
Hell if you want a veteran to show the kids how it's done, go sign Wentz. Has a ring, 90 games started, and 3 years holding a clip board- perfect mentor material
