It wasn't a good draft class, but I'd say Dallas did well considering the low talent level overall in this draft.combine this awfu; UDFA pickup this is the worst draft i've seen from the Cowboys in years

and i say they could have done better and the UDFA's are the worst. the cowboys passed on the top players left and went after the dregs 2 of them weren't even showing on multiple boards so don't know where the Cowboys came up with them. doubt that even one makes it TCIt wasn't a good draft class, but I'd say Dallas did well considering the low talent level overall in this draft.
You think? Mazi and Tyler Guyton are back to back 1st round busts. I think they got 3 kids that won't bust. We'll seecombine this awfu; UDFA pickup this is the worst draft i've seen from the Cowboys in years
If he wants to be competitive for a wild card, Jerry and Company need to sign or trade for a legitimate starting caliber NT, at least 1 high end(legit #2) WR(Pickens, Cooper, Jameson), trade for a Breece Hall or sign a similar type RB, and a veteran backup LT capable of starting if Guyton has not matured. If not, there's always next season7th rd.
Tommy Akingbesote DT Maryland.
I guess Jerry still believes in doing bare minimum to stopping run games.
I hope we end up with some surprises in these players.
Because I still see us losing leads in the 4th qtr & then saying we need a better offenses

Yeah, thats a good PR thing, but in the end, it's about winning football gamesI guess the high character thing didn't last too long. Our RB quit his HS football team and didn't play his senior year and our UDFA WR was ejected for spitting on an opponent. Good news is this kid dropped due to the character concerns and other wise was seen as a late day 3 type guy. Not a lot of speed but decent numbers. His two monster games were against Ohio St in the January bowl game and Michigan. I bet they had a draft able grade on him. I haven't heard their thoughts on the UDFAs yet. Usually there are at least a couple that they really like and it seemed to me they signed these guys really quickly this year, so I'm guessing they liked most of them. I'm psyched to read about this guys when the rookies report and then in mini-camp (hey that's all we get) but really when we get to camp.
Seems like he is ok with the pick...as i'm not part of his group can't say but he did express his dissatisfaction
I heard it was consensual till it wasn't. Apparently fella went to the back door and she had an exit only sign upI read a little more about the Isaiah Bond thing. Some of the details that are more rumors because I just saw them on message boards or SM comments and then some that are more official like the below that look pretty damning, but still just early in the legal process of course. I say just stay away and don't want to sign him. Let it play out and if he things take a positive turn for him and he is still unsigned, then take it from there.

granted but other than Lamb who is Dak throwing to and when they run who's their work-horse RBSeems like he is ok with the pick...
Like many teams, we won't have a workhorse RB but if we nailed our 5th rounder he and Williams may team up to be a decent combo. Not great, but maybe league average and that is a lot better than expected. Once they buried Zeke our run game was fine. The last 7 games of the year Rico rushed for 677 yards. That's cherry picking, of course, but it's also 1,644 yards over 17 games. That coincided with Martin's injury as well, because sadly once he went down our OL got better. Yet, that was still with a not very good OL.granted but other than Lamb who is Dak throwing to and when they run who's their work-horse RB

This. 3 year project and doable if done rightLike many teams, we won't have a workhorse RB but if we nailed our 5th rounder he and Williams may team up to be a decent combo. This year's OL vs last year's should see a significant improvement. Tyler pretty much the same or possibly a little better. Beebe year 2 should be better. Steele played much better at the end of the year last year, so should be better. Booker vs Martin/Hoffman should be a shit ton better, Guyton year 2 should take a huge leap forward or will be replaced. Either way we should be much better there as well. So, I have little doubt our run game will be much improved. Hopefully that will lead to not only 8 in the box, but being able to successfully run against 8 in the box which will help our passing game (I believe Schoitty will use PAP much better than dopey McCarthy) as will Dak being back because regardless of what you think of Dak, he is much better than Cooper Rush and having a healthy Ferguson (see 2023) will IMO as well. So hopefully we overcome our #2 AND #3 WR issue. Week 1 isn't yet here, so let's see what the depth chart looks like when we get there.
Regardless, this isn't a SB winning team and sure as heck wasn't a couple of months ago, so who cares if we have a couple of holes this year. The goal shouldn't be fill holes it should be build towards a SB. Let's fill them all by week 1 of 2026 when we are hopefully in a better position to compete for a SB. I think this was a positive offseason in that long term goal. It was NOT a successful offseason in getting there this year, but no one objective thought it would be unless we opened the purse in free agency and we did not.
Revel seems to have qualifications to be a potential shut down corner.I'm really rooting for this kid:

How one tryout sent Shavon Revel on his way from a warehouse job to the NFL's doorstep
After struggling at juco and working at Amazon, the ECU corner changed it all at a tryout camp on one hour's sleep.www.espn.com
Yeah i think Diggs rehab efforts just got ramped way upI am giving them a solid B + for this draft. It could have been an A,but that was a high 4th they threw away . I thought about a B- ,but I see at least 3 future starters out of this draft. The first three guys are going to all be starting by 2026. Diggs better get serious about the rehab or he is going to be gone in 2026.
