man that was a long time ago- I dont really remember a lot of the details. I think thats true- Donaghy had problems and they were able to compromise him and I am sure the first thing they did was then ask him who else has problems and is weak and could get compromised.

next year....the hunter trade got them under the tax this year which was important....clock starts next year....

Might be wrong but thought heard can remain under 2nd apron next year even if we pay Jerome.
not sure about next year but added $25 mil or so to his deal.
He still has some growing to do but he took a big step under Kenny
I am not sure that is possible with Jerome
Guess we will find out.....but if we can go far with this crew and want to run it back again (even in 2nd apron) have at it.
I'm gonna go ahead and credit Mobley more for his growth. some to his coachES. And, yes, some to Mitchell who was willing to take a step back not just for Mobley but because it was best for the team. Many stars would not do that. Not only did he agree to it, but he even CHOSE to stay knowing his numbers likely drop.
