Sir Robin Of Camelot
You seem angry. Miserable, even.
And with that…Ravens sign Cooper Rush to a 2-year $12.2M contract

Murray has over a $7M cap hit either way. He isn’t going anywhere. That is my issue with him. If his cap hit was half that I’d like the move.Sanborn makes sense. Now if If they Draft Jihad? Murray could be on the roster bubble. I think Sanborn is who Eberflus turns to.
and today, you'd like him if he were paid 3.5M.I wouldn't be surprised if Sanborn by the end of the year (or by the time Overshown is back whichever comes first) is playing more snaps than Murray. As a matter of fact I'm hoping for it.
Dante Fowler for me. 10.5 sacks, 14 TFL, 12 QB hits. Honestly, don't know own why we didn't bring him back last season for the number of snaps he gets, his metrics are as good as anyonesSo who is everyone's favorite player we brought in this offseason (ignoring our own guys like Osa and Turpin?
I'll go with Elam and Sanborn. Elam is physical and aggressive. Kind of the anti-Diggs. He was supposedly just out of place in Buffalo with all of the zone they run. Eberflus usually runs mostly zone so that is a concern, but I guess he at least runs a little more man than Buffalo does and I think Elam is going to be much better against the run. If he and Bland are the corners early in the year we will have two corners willing to step up and stick their nose in and not just give away the edge and outside runs In coverage he doesn't leave big cushions, which is the style I like more, even though again this is a little different than Eberflus and his bend but don't break style. But, I just like more aggressive and physical players.
Sanborn to me is just a lunch pail guy who played well when he got on the field and I also think he is going to excel on STs. Again a guy who is just going to stick his nose in. The opposite of the normal Jerry fast, combine star type LBer that just gets sealed off all of the time and picks the wrong hole and can't get off blocks. He has good instincts, is a good tackler and is also good in coverage and can rush the QB and he knows the defense. After Roquan Smith was traded to Baltimore in 2022 for the rest of the year his tackles were: 7, 12 (2 sacks), 9, 15, 11 and 5. Like I said the other day I wouldn't be shocked if he beats out Murray to play alongside Liufau until Overshown is back or at least rotates. In 2019 Zack Baun was a senior and Sanborn was a Sophomore at Wisconsin. Sanborn led the team in tackles and interceptions that year.
they've said they intend on drafting one.if our only backup for Dak is Will Grieg which free agent QB do we go after and please don't say Trey Lance
This is mine. They should have brought back Fowler last year. I like the Elam and Sanborn additions.. Solomon not bad.. the rest does not move the needle...signing two vet running backs who clearly past their primes and they were not that awesome in their primes. They need two more expensive additions. A legit #2 WR would be nice.Dante Fowler for me. 10.5 sacks, 14 TFL, 12 QB hits. Honestly, don't know own why we didn't bring him back last season for the number of snaps he gets, his metrics are as good as anyones
Wait...you thinking this is jerry or Stephen giving some kinda directive or something? There is speculation this year's UDFA crop is not looking good. Possibly some of these trades and moves were made because of this.
What are you talking about? Every player acquisition in a cap world takes cap hit into account. After all this time you still don't understand how it works? A $7.5M cap hit is exactly why Tenn was was thrilled to get rid of him and had no use for him and why it was a dumb move. It also wouldn't be a bad salary for a backup/rotation guy. Get it or would you rather just waive your pom poms?and today, you'd like him if he were paid 3.5M.

LOL. I think it's pretty clear who has the issue. Who is quoting comments from days earlier in a gotcha attempt? Who is trying to call out opinions as Redskins like? It's always someone else isn't it...Oh I get it
.you clearly have a problem with my opinions and frankly I've lost interest in tap dancing with you.
pom poms?
onward butt hurt
i would think the only one that fits our "draft plan" would be Tyler Shoughthey've said they intend on drafting one.
Here's my thing with Fowler. The entire DL was a massive need and they did very little to improve it. I am happy to have Fowler back as a passing down rotation guy because he can get to the QB, but I wasn't really concerned with losing him last year. That was of course with a different depth chart and pre-Sam Williams, Tank and Micah injuries. Turns out we could have used him. So while I'm not thinking it's a huge coup, the need was much much bigger this year because DE is another example of a position that they let go to crap. Look at our depth chart from 2023 and our depth chart today. Sam Williams is a suspension waiting to happen, so I think that and losing the other guys makes Fowler or someone like him a bigger need than when he left last year.Dante Fowler for me. 10.5 sacks, 14 TFL, 12 QB hits. your spin, it has always been your spin on who is what here..I think you remain butt hurt.LOL. I think it's pretty clear who has the issue. Who is quoting comments from days earlier in a gotcha attempt? Who is trying to call out opinions as Redskins like? It's always someone else isn't it...
The proof is here for anyone to read. I give my opinions like we all do. You, unfortunately, cry when they don't match yours. Whatever...
I agree with the sentiment. Here's my thing with Fowler. The entire DL was a massive need and they did very little to improve it. What keeps me from loving it is the same as everything else. I'd still have loved to have brought in a top notch Edge (IIRC Bosa only got a little more than Fowler) or take one at #12 or both. I'm a big fan of what I saw from Kneeland (especially on run downs) and obviously Micah has a spot locked down. With Tank and Golston both gone our run stopping at DE took a huge hit and Fowler doesn't help there nor does the guy from the Saints obviously. If Kneeland really takes a step forward like I am hoping and plays as much as 60-70% of snaps (I think he may play some DT on 3rd and long unless we bring in additional pass rushers) then we really only need a guy to spell Micah and Kneeland on some run downs because Sam Williams and Fowler are both going to be good on pass rush downs. I'll say it again, this whole defense and all of these moves are completely different if we add a top end DT to this group. It would change everything. It's just too bad the team doesn't see it because every fan that understand football seems to. The team of course is too afraid to admit their mistake with Mazi it seems to make any serious change just like I suspect they will do at OT for the next year or two. Who knows, maybe all of these one year deals mean that they too know the guys they brought in are just stop gap JAGs and they don't want to admit it but their plan begins in 2026.
rather see them sign Egbuka in the 1st and TreVeyon Henderson in the 1st and 2ndI agree with the sentiment.
There are guys that will really help this team available in this years draft IMO
NT: Tyleik Williams, Kenneth Grant, Deone Walker, Alfred Collins, Omarr Norman-Lott...all those dudes are 320-350 pound monsters that can stuff the run
DE: Mykel Williams, James Pearce, Mike Green, Princely Umanmielen, and my personal favorite, Landon Jackson
I didn't hit 3T and left out guys like Abdul Carter who will be gone
If the Cowboys target a couple of those guys in the first two rounds on top of whay they added, we are in business
That would be great as well(though i think Henderson doesn't make it to 44). Can't miss us offense or Defenserather see them sign Egbuka in the 1st and TreVeyon Henderson in the 1st and 2nd
