Raptors Sixers game

No Barnes
No Barrett
No Quickly
No George
No Maxey
No Lowry
No Embild

The NBA needs to fox this
I immediately turned the game off
Wouldn't even think of spending a dime on this
And I know it's not the only game tonight or at this time of year with the same problem
The season is too long.

NBA won't fix it because they won't identify the problem.

Uh, not really. NFL teams and MLB teams that are playing out the string will play a lot more of their prospects as well.
Lonnie Walker or Stephen Strasburg lol

"No the nba does nothing wrong. Don't criticize. Wahhhhhh"

Kobe was never compared to MJ the way LeBron is.

If you really followed the NBA, which it seems you don't, you would know that.

If you choose to disagree with me just ask any of the regulars in the NBA threads old enough to remember MJ's career and they would agree with me.

Never in the running for GOAT, sure. Definitely compared often in game style.

Even after nearly a full season here, there are plenty of haters still in Minnesota.

I dont know why people cant overlook his weaknesses and see him for his strengths. Its almost like they forgot that the guy he is replacing had a huge bag of weaknesses too.

Wolves are rounding into form in time for the playoffs. Going to be a tough out for anyone.

The emergence of Jaden McDaniels offensive game the last couple of months makes this team flat out scary if he can keep it up. About time the Wolves coaching staff got through to him that he needs to be aggressive on that end of the floor. Go check out his splits the last 6 weeks vs his entire previous career. Changing from a specialist to a possible all star. But again....hopefully he can keep it up and just doesnt shrink back into sitting into the corner on offense only.

I don't know
How about giving the fans theor money's worth

And the NBA is the only sport that does this
I mean, hard to do in NFL with only 17 games and also week between games to rest. Not needed in MLB as playing a baseball game is pretty much rest.

bridges is for lookin out for his teammates

They, bench guys, put in a lot of effort in practice to earn the time

Totally respect that
I don't care about what he said bc he was right. Even though you think NY isn't playing their starters more than any team lol

Last night: Bridges 41, OG 43, KAT 39, Hart 42, McBride 38

Sounds like Thibs is stuck in his ways and refuses to take advice from him.

Not taking anything away from him but I saw the stat. I think they played one team above .500 in those 11 games. Denver and they beat them twice.

Just sayin

It definitely helps having another fresh big out there with Gobert though.

Didn't get to watch. Only heard OKC more physical and Celtic players were complaining a lot.
Celtics pit up 63 threes, that’s insane. The Thunder are last in the league in free throw disparity but they found a team they could turn that on and they got to the line 35 times. I really think it was the best win in the league this season, def up there.

Not sure what the parameters for you are for "best win in league" but not many wins AT Boston so likely up there.

Make the regular season longer then
Yep, Shopson has it pegged, eaglesnut. Pat Riley back in the late 70's and early 80's tried to have the season reduced by 10 games becuase of injuries and the owners emphatically said NO.

The owners claimed they would lose too much money: Translation: We are greedy bastards and we will be damned before we give-up any monies.

Then TV money started getting really extensive and that killed that argument. Riley tried a second time and the Owners said the same thing.

Riley has been advocating a reduction in the season length ever since but he has pretty much given-up attempting to make it a glaring issue.

Winning on the road against the second favorite to win it all without your second best player. Plus national tv game with definite playoff feel.

Not sure why the "shorten the season" nonsense continues to come up. It's dumb and pointless.

We all know that...

A. The owners aren't going to just sit back and absorb that revenue loss

and

B. The players aren't going to accept the resultant cut in their salaries.

and

C. The TV money will be less as well.

So, if the season were to be shortened...fans would foot the bill by paying more for anything NBA related.
