forced to bet on it I say yes, he does.....but hope he doesn't. Not because Browns want him to or still think he can figure it out. Seems we lose 2-3 QBs to injury many years and he might be the last one standing...or hobbling.

He will of course eventually figure it out again....elsewhere.

You and your strawmen. Pickett is better than DTR but a completely different type of QB as well. Trading for Pickett only makes sense if they are going QB in the draft, which I personally don't see as good value. I'd expect a QB to go at #1 (either the Titans or a trading-up Giants), so you're likely getting Sanders. I was shocked that anyone showed interest in Pickett and would trade an asset for him. Surely there are FA cast-offs that can run an offense as a bridge. It's not like Pickett suddenly makes the Browns a playoff team as an interim QB.

Obviously. But that's all he does is try to play major tournaments where he's exempt. It's a setback for a year or so, but I don't see him hanging it up.

His body has been through so much.

At some point, he is going to stop playing because it will be too much.

Yep Aiyuk will be gone. Time for a rebuild. This could decide if that is around Purdy, a rookie or they move on and take a guy next year
