Jaxson Hayes is getting slowly better with his starting and extended minutes. He is a better rebounder, shot blocker, and his scoring is up. Hayes will get there as Redick's agenda is driven by developing the younger players they already have on the roster.

Hayes with DFS and Hachimura playing along side of him and his back-ups in Jemison, Kokolo, and Len are all progressing together. The potential is there. Whether it happens at the right time remains to be witnessed.

Getting dfs and luka trade were fine (I’m not sure they’re better immediately but you had to take a shot with luka) and the guy they traded are more replaceable


But fumbling the Williams situation is what keeps them back right now

Correct Q. The Center that perhaps they should have went after and was available but Pelinka did nothing was probably Nick Richards. The better course of action was what evetually transpired and that was to wait to get the guy they really want and that would be Utah's Kessler or if he isn't available, somebody in the draft.
