He is definitely up there. That was Fangios first win against the Chiefs in many tries IIRC so I do think there is a lot more going on there.
I looked deeper at that stat and Drew Locke was the QB for 4 of those 8 games and in the 8 contests the offense averaged 11 PPG. Tough to win games with that kind of help from the offense.

Open the floor for questions now.
Im sure a lot of you have questions about how the Eagles pulled this off, again.
I gotta question: where the hell you been?

I know some of you will laugh, but many of us in Philly are STILL not sure about Sirianni.
Didn’t you say that you live in Texas? Why do you think you speak for Philly fans?

I live in New Jersey now, I have for a few years. Perhaps you forgot when you quit this board like a bitch after getting called out on your basketball takes a few months ago?

Well, you guys arguably had the most talented healthy offense and the most talented defense by the playoffs.

I'd give coaching some credit but the Ravens were playing in the playoffs with Bateman as their #1 WR and the Bills had Khalil Shakir and Keon Coleman. Chiefs had 3 pro bowl IOL but no tackles.

There weren't any rosters to match the Eagles. Maybe the Rams if it didn't snow

But why do you think you speak for Philly fans? I haven’t heard any of what you’re talking about post Super Bowl. I do know that you hate Nick and that once you’re dug in you can’t adapt. 2 Super Bowls in 3 years and a Lombardi says he’s a good coach and it really doesn’t matter what you think.

Snow actually serves to negate line of scrimmage advantages. It’s pretty evident that since their week 5 bye and their 16-1 record that the Eagles were the best team in the league.

Eagles probably would have won 2 years ago in Arizona if the turf didn't suck....

Without a doubt. You couldn’t rush the passer on that field. It negated a huge advantage the Eagles had.

And better coaching. Coaches really cost you guys quite a bit.

People are talking about Fangio being the best, though, and Im pretty sure KC knocked him out last year, too. I wouldn't go as far as to say he is the best defensive coordinator. 2 high shell is super important but a lot of teams have deployed that with terrible luck. 2 high shell defense with elite players? Different story.

Now we wait as to when Kellen Moore finally leaves for the Saints job and who he takes off of this staff with him.
I have a feeling the hardest hit will be on the defensive side, Clint Hurt, huge man that turned this young defensive line into a hell of a unit. The other is Bobby King, LB coach that took a career special teams player and a "some would say a bust " and got the best out of this unit.

Will they be back next year?

Kellen Moore now gone.... How badly will this hurt the Eagles or will it not have an impact?

Depends on who they hire. Sirianni isn’t a play caller.

Probably no impact whatsoever in the regular season. Hard to tell otherwise.

Big thing against the Chiefs was that they had to leave guys one on one in key situations and Moore called deep passes because Eagles #1 is better than everyone else's CB1 save for a couple of teams and same with WR2. Next guy should do that, too.

Let me hereby state that I don't speak for all Philly fans, including but not limited to Fightinfunbags. I speak only for myself. I may sometimes share observations and opinions, and some may disagree with those observations and opinions.

OK, now that we have got that disclaimer out of the way, I guess we can move on with this message board thing.

And btw I have heard from plenty of people before and after the game who are still conflicted about Sirianni, though I do think more are warming up to him now that he's won a ring. Here was a story in the Athletic last week discussing this very phenomenon.

I could see people thinking he is the Jimmy G of head coaches. He is certainly not the most likable guy.
