Look for The Law Firm to be a Bengal shortly.

I'd rather have Bush, but at least we won't have to worry about him fumbling games away. Dude hasn't fumbled....EVER. Literally.

I am honestly not even sure why we are interested in him. I would almost rather have Benson back.

He has only had 1000 yards once, barely, and last year he had under 4 yards a carry with that juggernaut passing attack up in NE. Who the hell was defending the run against the Patriots? He should have averaged nearly 6+ a carry up there.

Except I'd say 50% of his runs came from inside the 5 or on 3rd and shorts. BJGE is a huge upgrade over Benson if for nothing else than he won't fumble the game away.

The Law Firm of Ben-Jarvis Ellis-Green will be an upgrade. The patriots line isn't exactly built for running the ball, and BJEG isn't exactly given a ton of chances to do much. He's had some pretty decent games when given the ball a fair amount of times.

I still expect to see the Bengals draft a RB at some point, but this lessens the need for them to spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on one. They'll take Scott's replacement in rounds 4-7.

Do you really think Marvin is ready to get rid of Scott?

I'm starting to think more and more than you don't actually ever watch an NFL football game.

he's only got 1 year left. Dunno if he'll sign back here, and you never know....bengals could have a decent back fall to them in round 3 depending on how the draft goes.

BJGE and LaMichael James seems like a good combo to me personally.

??

If you were talking to me by chance, I am not saying Scott is a good running back. What I was saying is, DO YOU THINK MARVIN THINKS he is ready to get rid of Scott?

I honestly do not know much about him, but what I see in stats. I like his non-fumbleitis, but he did not have a very good YPC with that explosive of a passing game opening holes for him.

I think he is a solid back who could be an every down back. Is he LT? No. Is he better than Benson? Yes. Give him a speed back to compliment him and to run the screens and passing downs and I think we have a real good RB combo.

I was thinking the same thing...

I would be perfectly fine with:

BJGE
#2012 Draft pick
Brian Leonard
Cedric Peerman

*cut: Bernard Scott

I keep all of them until the final cuts in August. Someone is bound to get hurt thus necessitating keeping them all until the end. If they take a speed guy like James, there will be no place Scott...since he isn't the fastest to begin with.

Only thing I do not like about varied backs in a two back set, the defense knows what to expect out of back in the game. I want a back that can do it all to keep the defense honest in coverage or run defense. Diversified backs cue the defense what is sort of coming. I guess that is my only hiccup with the two back combos, especially ones with two completely different type of backs.

ROTFLMAO! Dude, you are retarded! So you're happy for a part time starter who started only 17 of the last 32 games and averages 3.7 yards a carry last season in an offense where defenses were geared to stop the pass? You're happy about that? You're happy for a guy whose longest run was 18 yards? You're happy for a guy who caught only 9 passes last season.... IN A PASSING OFFENSE! Wow! And yes, I do watch football. I watched as the Patriots started both Stevan Ridley and Danny Woodhead because BenJarvus Green-Ellis was ineffective. I actually pick this fucker up off waivers last season and drop him after he gained 8 yards against the Jets........ 8 YARDS! This guy SUCKS!

My bad Tubbs! But I really do hate this guy. He fucked me over after I picked him up on waivers last year.
