Correct...not saying that he'll be worlds better, but that some stats can be misleading.

I think the Bengals improve line (hopefully) with a new LG and maybe a good draft pick at RG can help the run game open things up.

Also, I think BJGE will get a lot more carries between the 20's than he got in N.E.

But, I think a big factor in having BJGE here is that they plan on using multiple backs in this system, and that is something he's used to and willing to do. Maybe not so much with a guy like Bush, who may be looking for a straight up starting gig. Or, obviously, re-signing Benson.

I think the Bengals just wanted to replace Benson without spending much money. Benson was starting to get annoying with "I need to carry the ball more" speeches.

BLGE is not Arian Foster, that's for sure....but by direct comparison to Benson....

BLGE is one year removed from a 1000 yard season at 4.4 per carry.....Benson is two years removed from his best year, 1200+ yards at 4.2 per carry....advantage BLGE....

Neither is a particularly good receiving option, but BLGE could be better that advertised there as NE had a good receiving option at RB that got most of the pass receptions in Kevin Faulk.....BLGE has averaged 11+ yards per reception albeit on a limited number of catches.....Benson has proven he completely sucks as a receiver......advantage BLGE...

Benson is 29 and has some wear on the wheels, BLGE is 26 with little wear....Benson has three times the carries.....advantage BLGE......

BLGE has 24 TDs in the last two years and has proven himself as a short yardage and goalline back....Benson has 13 TDs in the last two years in nearly 200 more carries and a recent history of struggling in short yardage situations.....advantage BLGE.....

BLGE has never fumbled in 500+ career carries......Benson has 13 fumbles in the last two seasons...advantage BLGE.....

BLGE has a rep as a good guy.....Benson is a criminal....advantage BLGE......

All in all, quite an upgrade, I believe.....

Dyslexia would be if you did BJEG or JBEG or something...Doug just flat out got the letters wrong. LOL
