As a Chargers fan I see him as a reach. The top DT, OLB, CB on the board would have been a better choice.

It might be a bit of a reach but I went there because keeping Rivers off of his ass is a must, especially with Jackson gone. It'll help also because they can plug him in at G or T.

If you want, you can take over the Chargers. I only took them because they were in the neighborhood.

It's all good. They resigned Hardwick & Gaither. The pass rush is a concern & I don't like the corners. I understand why you chose an OL though, Dielman & McNeill are gone.

In this particular draft Brockers the South Carolina DL & Decastro were off the board so it's no biggie.

That's who I was going to take for SD.

Wow. LoC is officially mentally retarded in my book. I have placed him on my ignore list next to champy. If he directs any statement towards me I hope you guys quote it so I could see.

Kind of a stretch for a team that runs a lot of man coverage, IMO. I had three CBs ranked higher than him for man-teams.

If the actual draft went like this, I have a feeling the Bears might have tried to trade up to get DeCastro. In particular, I was in a really awkward position with the Chiefs. I wound up taking Brockers, as DT is the major need of the Chiefs, but he'd probably be available at 18. The Bears needs are WR (still), OL, DT, LB (less urgent, but we do need to eventually find a replacement for BU and LB), and the Secondary. If they can find a way to get one of the elite prospects at these positions (ie Kalil, Martin, Reiff, DeCastro, Kuechley, or Claiborne), they'll probably do it. Phil Emery is looking to prove he is not a vanilla GM, and he might be willing to trade away a lot of draft picks to prove it.

I drafted him because I liked what I saw when I watched him play, and being 6'2" he can match up against Megatron and Jennings. Almost went with Jenkins but I didn't like him at 5'9"
