Not really duplication, their D line has been pretty mediocre this year which is one reason they are struggling lately. Especially Bosa who hasn't done much after getting the bag. They need a corner too but maybe this is enough.

Asking for a day 2 pick is an indirect way of saying exactly that. If you want him, you need to overpay in other words.
