That shit is risky! Nobody can deliver on that. He has inadvertently walked his son into a situation where he’s going to go with the most compelling sheisty liar. No agent can make that happen.
That is dead on haha!View attachment 343625This is hilarious....and not trolling. I like these Phillies a lot.
Sports is always evolving when it comes to monetization. I think all sports need a layer for the Uber Uber super star. Guys like Steph, LeBron, Jordan, Brady, etc… are making their franchises ridiculous levels of revenue. There should be a pathway for that Uber elite level to get a percentage of ownership in the team. You need people willing to be Curt Flood in order to establish that as a layer of the system. I like that Williams has stepped up in this way. We are entertained by the athletes and not the suits that own the team. The problem with my idea is that it gets saturated over time and instead of you getting an overpay of Kirk Cousins or DeShawn Watson by giving them a fully guaranteed when it doesn’t happen much in that league now those situations result in a player having partial ownership. And then another problem…a conflict of interest once said player is traded or wants to move on in free agency. They’ll have to liquidate ownership. It can get complicated.
I think we are years away from this. But this is how it starts.
He’s really getting raked over the coals. I haven’t changed my opinion about his potential. Saturday night did confirm for me that you’re in a moment where he is a victim of his own success coupled with the system of his coach’s success. He hasn’t really needed to learn how to play QB as dumb as that sounds. To make it in the NFL, you are going to have to come off read 1 and 2 and go with 3 or 4 quite a bit. He has never had to do that because he plays for a coach that can get read 1 open like all the time. Or when that fails, Williams is so fucking good at improvising that he’s never paid for not going right to “extend” instead of working his way through the progression. It’s not anyone’s fault. It’s the learning curve.Fortunately, it doesn't look like there's a lot to it. I guess he's been informed that it's not possible. Florio said it's actually old news that appears to be coming up now because Caleb had a bad game vs. the Domers.
FairThese guys can get into ownership in their 40s. No need to cloud the waters.
I think all of us in this thread would be very comfortable in a circle jerk talking and arguing sports. Perfectly normal. I'm not joking

I think Riley will succeed in the NFL. He is an amplified offensive coordinator and in the NFL he can truly just turn the defense over to someone. In college his preference of offense gets in the way with recruiting and everything else. He’s really getting raked over the coals. I haven’t changed my opinion about his potential. The real blame lies with the protection not Williams. If he’s part of that operation and it’s his job to change protections at the line based on a read then that is on him. I don’t know if he does or doesn’t. It seems like Riley controls audibles from the sidelines. Williams and USC saw NFL concepts with 4 star athletes with experience. It’s evident they held stuff back on film. They ran concepts I hadn’t seen them run this season. Golden put Williams in a position to reveal evidence that he’s on a learning curve and still developing. The most damning evidence came for those projecting Lincoln Riley to the NFL. For me, he’s the guy that has to adapt in any projection of him going to college. The last guru from LSU (have already forgotten his name; I remember it being really simplistic like Joe Smith) went to the NFL and he got schooled. Lincoln Riley setting the world on fire in the NFL is a big question mark now. All Golden did was shit he picked up working for the Bengals. It’s the shit you see with disguise etc every week in the NFL.
Y'all heard about Michigan @Shanemansj13 @Wamu ?
Spying/ sign stealing on possible playoffs teams lmfaoBriefly. Something about the NCAA investigating the football program I think. But don't know the details.
