I disagree. That lineup isn’t deep at all. After Christian Walker you have Moreno with some Pop but hitting like .200. 6-9 is just an out.
The Eagles have beat teams with a combined record of 12-17 and just lost to the Jets.

Don't put any bets on them till they play a tougher schedule....

Clayton Kershaw in a playoff start is an on going meme.

He's .500, not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. 13-13 with one save. 39 appearances. If you discount any losses from the cheating Astros, he's a winning playoff pitcher overall. Plus, he 4-2 in his last 7 playoff starts.

I agree....

People tend to get on him because of his ERA...

Phil’s have avoided the Dodgers two years in a row. 3 games, 5 games, 7 games, 9 games…it wasn’t going to matter with the Dodgers post season rotation. Maybe MLB should do a better job keeping Dodgers pitchers from beating women.

Urias being the "ace" of the rotation this year just shows how injuries have impacted things (May and Buehler specifically).

That's pretty much average though, which is what he has mostly been in the playoffs. He's been a little better of late (Game 1 this season not withstanding), but when you consider how dominating he has been in the regular season for much of his career, you'd expect better post season results.

He's definitely a great pitcher and a 1st ballot Hall of Famer, but he hasn't exactly been 1988 Hershiser in the playoffs.

I agree it isn't deep but we can't assume that suarez and im guessing walker going to do what wheeler and nola just did either. Also their 6th hitter had a damn good season but yeah 7-9 is trash.

Long story short the bats need to wake up. Phils are going to win the WS if the starters continue to be untouchable
Don’t sleep on Ranger Suarez.

He's probably a top 5 all time regular season pitcher so its wild to the splits to the postseason.

The Phillies vs the Rangers is going to be an epic WS. The best 2 teams in baseball facing off.
LONG WAY TO GO dude. And lol at 'best teams'

Best teams in baseball rarely win it all and this year is no exception it looks like.

I really do think the Phil’s are one of the best 3-4 teams in baseball. They just were bad in April and May. Since June 1st they’ve played like a 105 win team.

I agree I meant the Rangers more. Over 162 the best teams were probably the Braves and Astros and Rays, next the Phillies and Orioles and Dodgers, in some order. Rangers were in that second group too I guess.

So basically I'm stupid.

He spoke....haven't really said anything definitive yet but did say he has really small tear or tears. Still day to day as expected (no reason to let Indy know anything). Line remaining in 2-3 range from what I've seen so doesn't seem like anyone knows anything different since opening line came out.

Nothing definite but my guess he doesn't play this week if he hasn't practiced at this point. I would say he returns vs Seattle or Zona
