Unreal. This team misses SO many hittable pitches. They’ll work the count into their favor, and they FOUL OFF fastballs that are center-center. I’ve lost count of how many foul balls we’ve hit in hitter’s counts.

If the count is 3-1, you should be sitting dead red on a fastball. The overwhelming majority of pitchers will go with the fastball when they must throw a strike. The percentage of pitches that are fastballs on 3-1 counts is insanely high. And we just flat-out miss them.
