I actually thought the Rangers might go after him
My guess is the Rangers are focused on the Cardinals or the Pirates at the moment, but the market is heating up with 4 days to go.

I guess it depends on if you want to acquire relievers that are going to cost you prospects at the trade deadline or if you want to spend money in FA. Since it isn’t my money I’d rather acquire players in FA for cash vs having to deal players to get guys that no doubt will be overvalued when so many other teams are driving the price (in talent) up most likely.what's surprising is how many bullpen pieces have been traded so far. those are only supposed to be handled in the *offseason. especially now with the third wild card spot making the trade deadline mostly irrelevant.
offseason, not postseason lol.

And, if you want an adequate bullpen all year long or just for two months.I guess it depends on if you want to acquire relievers that are going to cost you prospects at the trade deadline or if you want to spend money in FA. So continue to suffer thru the next couple of months or pick up some long term pieces? And, if you want an adequate bullpen all year long or just for two months.

And we have TBD scheduled in Sunday. Maybe, we will reverse that. LolSnell is scheduled to start against us on Sunday

He’ll overcome itSometimes this happens to guys who come up and then go back down. Let's see how long it lasts.
From Scott Lucas:
Alex Speas' first AAA appearance after being optioned was his worst of the season: two walks, a hit, batter, a single, four runs, one out. El Paso singled in the winner off Chase Lee in the 10th.
