I don’t think the FO can fire Servais. How could Jerry possibly keep his job as President if he has to fire his manager for his failure and spin why he has a job? Jerry hand picked Scott, by all accounts and rumors Scott was going to be the bench coach not manager.

I have always wondered the same. If it is my guy and he fails, then I failed. Same as the roster can't hit, I picked the roster so I am the responsible one.

I was on board with the Teo trade thinking ok the FO is going to add a couple more solid pieces plus 1 more in the pitching rotation and we have ourselves a ball club.

Servais won't be fired this year but the FO will probably clean out some of the coaches after the season in which Scott will be in line to be fired next season if they stumble again.

I'd move Marco to the pen for long relief and unfortunately I seriously doubt Flex has any trade value. If you can get a carvel cake for Flex in a trade, you do it.
