It is amazing Huggins held his job as long as he did.

I met Bob Huggins once. I was in a room with him and about 12 other people (player, player’s family, entire coaching staff + 2 or 3 other players) while he was on a trip recruiting a player I used to coach.

He turned to the player’s father and said:

“How much will it cost to get your son to come to WVU”.

This was over 10 years ago. Most top programs were breaking recruiting rules back then, we all know it.

But to so brazenly and openly make an offer like that? In a room with multiple people he didn’t know?

Crazy.
