* They would also have to be real stupid to sign Kyrie.
They don't need a bona fide scoring star. They need better transition defense.
The issue isn't the minutes Lebron's been playing in the playoffs. The issue is the minutes he had to play in the regular season because of the roster construction before the trade deadline and the push to make the playoffs after.
If they bring back as much of the current roster as possible with a couple of tweaks they can have the necessary depth so that Lebron can play fewer regular season minutes and have more for the playoffs without introducing Kyrie's crazy to the mix.
No, it's more of a rooting addition, not a replacement to a favorite team.
No consideration needed….you are one

Hate to say it…
But the transition defense isn’t as much on personnel as it is on coaching.
Lakers just so disorganized in that area. Also they are probably overcommitting to offensive rebounding.
Jeff Can Gundy used to send 4 guys back on every shot because in his opinion, those O rebounds were fools gold. What you gain by sending guys forward, you often give up as much or more in transition.
Unless you are very well organized in those situations.
Even then. Everyone is different.
Guy I went to school with is like the biggest UVA fan ever. Goes to every game he can in every major sport.
Doesn’t have a favorite pro team at all. But he follows and roots for all the teams that have UVA players.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that.
Not so sure about that. Of the guys supposed to be rotating back, the first two are the guards (Russell and Reaves their weakest starting defenders). Lebron's effort varies, and AD is probably on the ground. That leaves whomever is the remaining starter (Vando, Dennis, Rui). Factor in that the Lakers take so many shots in the paint and there often isn't anyone outside the arc to easily get back in position.
I also love Ed Harris and Redford.I can’t separate Duvall from that group either, and if I did it wouldn’t be below them.
He’s a goddamn thief.![]()
Denver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan channels mental health interests into role as mentor
LOS ANGELES – As 38-year-old LeBron James has raced down the floor during the Western Conference finals, DeAndre Jordan saw firsthand how the Los Angeles Lakers…andscape.com
Good article on DeAndre Jordan being at peace with role nowadays.
Interesting prediction from Nick Wright.
He said that the Lakers will win tonight and the winner of game 5 will win the series.
Well, first all, Duh...if the Nuggets win game 5, the series is over.
But even if they don't win game 5...beating the Nuggets 4 straight seems very unlikely.
If a team is going to come back from 0-3 this year, the Lakers seem like the more logical candidate since you can make a case that with a few breaks (or eliminating a few unforced turnovers) they could be up 2-1.
But they're not beating this Nuggets team 4 straight.
Austin Rivers has always been a fn horses ass. He’s not as good as either of the players he for some reason decided to compare. Fn idiot.
He’s not as old as the ones you are talking about but Sam Rockwell is one of my favorite actors. Never seen him in anything he didn’t stand out in.I also love Ed Harris and Redford.
I swear that guy won a drawing or something. How the he'll else does a guy like that become a basketball analyst on ESPN???Interesting prediction from Nick Wright.
