yeah, I get it, it's just the woke generation seems to hate this when it comes to the upper 1% in our country. I mean, they don't believe some of them are actually liberals, but still..... its OK to pay these guys because the owners are worth more because of them. We can just move that hate to the owners.

But Kobe is an example of a man that played the game the right way, for however many dollars he was getting from the beginning of his career. Did not really follow him much, but my argument is Kobe deserved those dollars because the league grew because of him, now there are 50 players making over 30 million and I do not think half of them made the playoffs. You have people like Durant that gets a contract when they knew he was missing half the season.

Either way, it has been a great series for Denver, further proof you cannot find your friends and win rings, just would be real nice to see LeBron swept out of the finals, start trying to find a new coach and a new bench for next year.

I get it to a point. End of the day, these guys are making obscene amounts of money for playing a game that many of us play for free or even pay to play if we are in a rec league.

I don't really look at things like whether or not I think a guy plays the right way or not because it's too subjective, imo. I just look at how much that player increases revenue for his team and the league.

I absolutely love Reaves and his development.....but he should not be the obstacle to getting Irving. As much of a headcase as Irving is? He is a prolific scorer and he eases a lot of the burden on James.

Let Reaves walk if we get Irving, let TBJ and Walker go. Bring back Schroder and Hach. See if we could package Beasley and Bamba plus the 19th pick (after we select him) to another team? Both have just 1 year left.....if we opt in on Beasley.

Plus sign a few vets that wanna chase a ring.

How are you planning to get Kyrie, trading Russell for him? If the Lakers don't want Russell, why does Dallas? That S&T would hard-cap the Lakers. If it's via cap space then Hach, Beasley and Bamba are gone.

We just escaped this 3 star crap and are developing some depth. I have to say HELL NO to this IMO.

I don't think Minny does the trade if they didn't get Conley though. Ideally yes. I can remember saying I'd rather have Conley in all kinds of Westbrook trades I dreamed up in the months prior, but I don't remember reading anything that said that deal could have gotten done with the Lakers getting Conley and D'lo staying put or going to Utah. Right now they're better off re-signing him and waiting until he's eligible to be traded (December, maybe January depending the CBA rules) and moving him then

Minny wasn't a plus to the trade at all other than to change swap Russell for Conley and Walker. They got 3 2nds (2 from Utah, 1 from LA) to take Conley and Walker from Utah and send Russell to LA. They weren't needed for the core deal.

Too little, too late Ham. Pull the stick out of your ass

Nothing to do with that, he's been receiving injections in his ankle for soreness. The Lakers have barely even used Gabriel this series, just means another body available on the bench. The only guys on the bench that could potentially help at this point are Beasley and Brown Jr, hoping they could get hot from 3 in place of the others that are not.

I even wanted Walker as another possible throw in at one point. I've tried to warm to Russell's return, and it was easy to do in the regular season (when available). He was at least usable in the Warriors series, but has been beyond rough these 3 games.

Beasley's disappearance has been problematic as well. Not sure what it is about the Lakers, seems to be where 3 pt shooters go to slump. You would think AD and Lebron would create more open shots, but it doesn't seem to work that way.

Yeah, it kind of depends for me.

I want to see USC players do well in the pros and will watch games where a USC player has a prominent role on a team and hope they do well/their team wins as long as they're not playing my team.

But I'm not switching favorite teams based on a player.

No, it's more of a rooting addition, not a replacement to a favorite team.

All bullshit aside, it was reported that he rarely leaves home.

He looks terrible.

Hope he’s just being antisocial and it’s not for health reasons.

A few months back, there were stories about people being afraid for his safety and fearing he would die alone and nobody would know.

He, Deniro, Pacino, Denzel, Freeman are my top 5 actors of all time.

You could almost see the stink coming off of him. Pains me to see him like that.

All in all, the Lakers are just getting beat by a better team. 3 relatively close games (first was close after a big comeback) all decided by the team that hit the clutch shots. Props to the Nuggs. I'll still hold out hope to at least continue to extend the series if not steal it in 7, but we all know the odds against that.

Will the Nugz or Knicks retire his jersey?

Highly doubt the Nugz.

Unfortunately for Melo I think the things he will be remembered for with the Nuggets is forcing his way out of town and player/picks we got back in the trade for him. The first round we got for him we used to draft Jamal Murray who will most likely be a better Nugget when it’s all said and done than Melo.

I can’t separate Duvall from that group either, and if I did it wouldn’t be below them.

I have two favorite NFL teams, and unless you want to consider me a bandwagon fan as a 9 year old in 79/80 when I started following the Rams on their Super Bowl run (Bills are the local team and a favorite by birth right in my family), not sure I fit your "rule".
No consideration needed….you are one
