I hate Yall.

But, If you traded for FVV instead of DLo, you might be in the Finals.

Monday Morning quarterbacking, because the cost would have been oh so much higher.

* it really is Monday this time @shopson67 :nono:*

Adding poetl mightve done

And they have the pieces still on the roster (Beasley and the 29 first)

I’ll own it when I’m wrong. I’m not wrong here. I don’t care when he got on the bandwagon. He’s a bandwagon fan of the Nuggets. Everyone who has a 2nd team in a sports league is a bandwagon fan.

I have two favorite NFL teams, and unless you want to consider me a bandwagon fan as a 9 year old in 79/80 when I started following the Rams on their Super Bowl run (Bills are the local team and a favorite by birth right in my family), not sure I fit your "rule".

And where has Russell gone? He is killing any chance of being signed into the future. If he is signed, it will be for trade purposes. Ham should really think about playing some of his players in the second half like maybe Bamba for a few minutes.

It's time for Beasley. Maybe he catches a hot streak.

AD couldn't lead an old lady across a crosswalk of a deserted street.

He was a beasting when Lebron was out injured. Your hyperbole is strong, but it won't matter anyway. By the time Lebron actually moves on, AD will be beyond his prime and unable to lead even if once able.

DLo sure has played his way out of a bigger contract with his inconsistent play this post season, and his awful play during the WCF.

Still think he gets re-signed, and if it's for a bit less, all the better.

Will the Nugz or Knicks retire his jersey?

Highly doubt the Nugz.

Nah, if you're a fan of player thru college, why should you abandon him in the pros?

Yeah, it kind of depends for me.

I want to see USC players do well in the pros and will watch games where a USC player has a prominent role on a team and hope they do well/their team wins as long as they're not playing my team.

But I'm not switching favorite teams based on a player.

He's fucking Jack Nicholson.....like he has to explain himself to anyone....

LOL.
All bullshit aside, it was reported that he rarely leaves home.

He looks terrible.

Hope he’s just being antisocial and it’s not for health reasons.

A few months back, there were stories about people being afraid for his safety and fearing he would die alone and nobody would know.

He, Deniro, Pacino, Denzel, Freeman are my top 5 actors of all time.

Dude, you gonna catch any of the Aces games?

How do you beat a team that has Candace Parker as the 4th or 5th option?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have tickets to see them on Jun 21st.

Look, I’d definitely do this if I’m the Lakers.

Yes, you want to preserve the D’Lo salary slot.

But, fuck paying him or Beasley if you don’t actually have to.

Thoughts?

That means no Rui, Beasley, Russell, or Bamba (basically reduces the trade deadline to just Vando) and still requires Kyrie to accept something under $30M. $95M for Lebron/AD/Vando/Christie plus $2.2M cap hold for Reaves, $3.6M cap hold for 1st rounder, and about $6M in cap holds for empty roster spots leaves about $27M for Kyrie.

I don't see it happening, and don't really want it either. I much prefer acting as a capped team keeping more assets.

Yes.

James has played too may mpg this postseason at his age.........ridiculous playing a 38yo 40-plus mpg.

Irving gives them a legit star and he is a scorer.....his head is questionable at best but James might be able to keep him in check.

I would sign and yrade Russell in a heartbeat and include a 2nd or 2.

Would hard-cap the Lakers to S&T for Kyrie.

Again, just like any other industry, the top producers make the most money.

The guys on the bottom part of the scale are actually overpaid, while the guys at the top are underpaid based on what they add to the team and leagues bottom line.

Example...the Lakers gave Kobe a max level contract over his last 2-3 seasons even though he couldn't play as many games or produce at the levels he did earlier in his career. Yet, he was still underpaid when you consider the number of people showing up at home, on the road and watching on tv for the chance to see him play one last time.
yeah, I get it, it's just the woke generation seems to hate this when it comes to the upper 1% in our country. I mean, they don't believe some of them are actually liberals, but still..... its OK to pay these guys because the owners are worth more because of them. We can just move that hate to the owners.

But Kobe is an example of a man that played the game the right way, for however many dollars he was getting from the beginning of his career. Did not really follow him much, but my argument is Kobe deserved those dollars because the league grew because of him, now there are 50 players making over 30 million and I do not think half of them made the playoffs. You have people like Durant that gets a contract when they knew he was missing half the season.

Either way, it has been a great series for Denver, further proof you cannot find your friends and win rings, just would be real nice to see LeBron swept out of the finals, start trying to find a new coach and a new bench for next year.
