Payton had a lengthy press conference today at the combine. Nothing ground breaking, but he is a pretty interesting listen.

International convention of liars. I will not ever listen to any front office guy before, during or about the draft.

All of a sudden - real men are being hired to block for the Broncos - I haven't seen that since - you know - championships!

Sean Payton executed his plan to change the direction of the Broncos like Michael Carilone taking over as the Godfather. By the time his peers in the NFL noticed what he was doing - Payton was done. George Paton deserves credit too for getting it done. This Bronco front office is especially good at not leaking. Greg Penner also should get credit - as ready money allows the Broncos to structure deals that win FA targets and land soft on the salary cap limits.

I remain encouraged by the Bronco personnel moves since Sean Payton became HC.

The roster additions have added muscle, toughness and speed. These are the attributes you need to win close games.

Remaining needs: RB - with speed, Swing OT, Interior Dline depth.

Also, I'm glad to see Wilson fade into the background for a while.

Don't sleep on Tyler Badie at RB.
I hope you're right. I recall you called my attention to him one week during the season and the very next game he took a pass - like 40 yards for a nifty TD sprint.

If you're good Sean Payton will play you.

Trent Harris is another guy Payton is giving a shot as an Edge guy:

Has Dalton Risner signed?

I have always been a Damarea Crockett fan too since his FR year at Missouri. He isn't a speed back though which will hurt him. More like Perine but not a pass catcher like him. He does play special teams "ok" though but probably not looking good for him roster wise unless we keep a 4th RB, which historically Payton likes to keep an extra RB.. However, Tony Jones seems to be a pet of his so Crockett is really on the outside looking in.
