I feel bad for the fans of Oakland. Management tanked their product all so they could be the next team to bail on Oakland.

Isn't their stadium a shithole and they couldn't get a new one approved? I think the same thing happened with the Raiders.

Plus, people weren't showing up for games.

Why would they? The product has been poor and the franchise never committed to keeping players who were good.

Plus Oakland ain't some deep pockets city, and I believe the A's and Raiders wanted them to kick in a ton of money to build a stadium

Once the pro sports decided it was ok to have teams in Vegas it was over, don’t think there was much they could have done. I don’t really think the Raiders are doing great though, they have been rumored to have cash problems, which is hard to do in the NFL.

Marc Davis is the poorest owner in the league. I don't think he has Any other notable assets. Most of the owners real money is other stuff, the team is just a hobby/investment

From what I heard this morning, they've made the playoffs in 6 of the last 11 seasons.
Didn’t realize that but at the same time it just speaks to the frustration as they’ve let so many players walk during that time.

They might have more money to pay them if fans showed up to games.

While they have let players walk, it's not like they're fielding crap teams every season.

It seems like maybe the stadium could be keeping people away more than the product on the field.

From what I've heard and read it's a real shit hole.

Truly he should sell. His dad bought the team for peanuts. The turnaround is substantial

It's his entire identity and reason anyone cares about him and his haircut. He's known nothing else since literally his birth. He's not selling.
