That is fair, especially with second tier conferences, but in the SEC you are going to face a lot of NFL talent. Being 25 rather than 21 should make a lot of difference at the QB position. Having four years of additional snaps would raise your football IQ immensely.

Football IQ at the collegiate level is hardly relevant.

33% is a lot better than the success rate of 22 year olds. Big strong QB who beat Alabama.
Yes, he beat Bama that was more Hyatt than anything. Any TN fan would tell you that.

Hooker is NOT a strong QB. He might be 210 if not 200. He is a skinny QB for sure. He is tiny compared to Joe Milton, the current UT starter. Milton is 6'6 and 245. Hooker might be 6'3 and 200-210.

I watched the Bama game 3 times (my favorite UT game in 20 years) and Hyatt won that game no doubt. Hooker had some very solid throws but also almost cost them the game with his 4th quarter fumble. He was a warrior no doubt. He is more quick and elusive than strong. I have literally watched every snap while he was at UT.

Against GA though, he got exposed.

Hyatt was unstoppable in the Bama game and it vaulted him into the 1st round conversation. The OLine also kept Bama in check the entire game.

Well 6’3” 217.

Hooker threw for 385 and 5 TDS. He also rushed for 56.

So the OL did its job.

It was an amazing game!

Why do you think I am so high on Darnell Wright?

That was a fun one. What do you think of this strategy? I got
two Chicago 2024 first rounders and their fifth
a NYG 7

but I gave up our 2024…3, 4, 5, and 6

I like it!! I'm having trouble posting my results. But I've kinda learned a system to fleece teams. I get rid of my late picks and move back into the 2nd round. Typically teams will give you some crazy offers for 2nd rounders. And you can also get 1st and 2nds for 1st and 4th from Pittsburgh. Although my grades drop i once was able to land TE washington and both all american LBs Sanders and Campbell. This sim is addictive, far better than PFF and slight edge over PFN

It was nice getting Sanders (best LB), JMS (best center), and Washington (somewhere in top four TEs). All three of those could go in the first.

My favorite part is getting Carolina (possibly the worst team in football next season) and Chicago’s (possibly the worst team in football next season) first round picks. We would have three firsts next season. If Howell is not the guy, we could have the best QB in the draft next season without trading up.

Absolutely, disappointed i couldn't post one of those sims where i got a boat load from CHI. I don't know if this has been your case, but free for all has drafted more realistically than standard.

It is typically so unrealistic I can’t even finish.

insane 2024 draft pick collection

It is an interesting draft. My complaint would be this season and getting no value. That being said, we would clean up in next season’s first round and honestly I think this is a rather weak draft With the exception of TE from late one to early two and CB in the 10-20 range.

If there was a QB you really liked it would be a good haul and you would have a great chance to move up. I wouldn't want 4 first round picks on rookie contracts otherwise. Not sure of the final total you stock piled but how many could actually make the team? Interesting draft with that haul.

Absolutely a true statement ... Saban, Spurrier, Chip Kelly, Rhule, Meyer ..... have all proved that.

Yeah very fair point, although LaPorta looks like he has quite a bit of potential.
If things went bad, and Caleb Williams or whoever is at the top of the QB list was available, we'd be able to land them

I also got 2 2nd rounders. 4 may be a lot, although 3 did wonders for the Jets. That is a good point about rookie contracts though
