Trae young wants refs fined
This post just got whistled for criticism of the NBA refs.Been saying for a couple seasons now the refs are lousy way too often. I remember last season Kendrick Perkins saying the the they're the worst he's even seen.
I just hope their mistakes never cost a team a potential win in the playoffs. That happens and it's a real mess.
Bwahahaha! Do you even NBA bro? This has been the way for decades. You shouldn't have to earn foul calls when fouled.

LOL noWe joke about this stuff but the reason the refs are a thing is because the NBA will not let them just go call an honest game. That’s the truth of it.
LOL no
Well it really is when you think about it. The league is constantly telling them emphasis on this, deemphasis on this. Did you watch the Donaghy Netflix show? I mean even without that the league admits they choose to pick how they want the games called. That is how the star treatment was born.LOL no
Maxey isn’t a star so I get it. I also understand that he isn’t a Laker either so he doesn’t get the benefit of a fugaze whistleIf you're going to whine about Maxey not getting enough calls, same thing.
That's different than claiming the NBA is actively putting their thumb on the scale. The refs obviously let some things slide that the letter of the law requires calling, to make the game not be endless whistles, and good for them. It would be unbearable if they called it that tight. They are calling carries and travels a bit more this yearThey have encouraged reffing games to make it more tv friendly
Otherwise the Carries and travels every single possession would be called
Well yeah the league does emphasize certain things, I thought you meant they tell the refs to favor teams to craft a narrative, get the winners they want. I don't think they do that.Well it really is when you think about it. The league is constantly telling them emphasis on this, deemphasis on this. Did you watch the Donaghy Netflix show? The refs make mistakes, they don't actively try to help teams. They make too many mistakes but then they always have. We just get to obsess over them more due to twitter sending them out every day. They fucked up plenty before social media we just didn't have a million replays in our inbox
And has been done since the very beginning. Either you like the sport or you don't. Stars get calls.Giving stars preferential Treatment is also 100% putting their thumb on the scale
Yeah maybe not since SacramentoWell yeah the league does emphasize certain things, I thought you meant they tell the refs to favor teams to craft a narrative, get the winners they want. I don't think they do that.
Yeah maybe not since Sacramento

That was one of the few times even I thought something was up. And the outcry was pretty massive so I doubt they did much of that since.Yeah maybe not since Sacramento
