My biggest issue with all these Ja stories is wtf is the memphis front office doing? Did anyone sit down with him? Poor leadership across the board in that organization

Maybe, maybe not.

But I think it is a bad assumption that Memphis isn’t attempting some form of intervention just because it wasn’t public.

They should be more concerned about their relationship with their player than public perception.

I like the Sixers.

You feel better than I do. I’ve got James Harden and a road game in Miami. Not only was Harden likely out last night, he probably had multiple teammates out with him. His career numbers in Miami are way off his career averages. Miami is a fun city for most. It’s heaven for a dude like Harden.

Sixers are an enigma. When I get down on them they do something to string me along. When I start feeling like they’ve turned a corner they lose at home to the Celtics and then follow up sleep walking through a home game with the Heat. Sixers have 22 games left and 15 are on the road. Dropping that home game for a 1-2 home stand out of the All Star break is just unacceptable for a squad with championship goals. Meanwhile…Bucks and the Celtics just keep rolling along.

Smells a lot like Process Era Sixers. They let Jah Okafor get away with shit. They let Ben Simmons do what he wanted. Maybe they’re scared of the dude and him wanting out if they give him the tough talk. At the same time, his coach never even played college basketball let alone pro ball. I would bet that’s a tough person to get through to JA on how to conduct his business in the NBA spotlight. JA likely needs an old head to sit him down and bring him a Come to Jesus talk.
