Jokic isn’t even top 5. Sorry. When you’re the focal point of what the scouting report is going to exploit defensively you’re not the best player in the league. You’re the best player in the league when we let algorithms and math nerds like Nate Silver tell us what to think.

Can you tell us WHY they "hate him"?

No idea. My own theory is on the way he acted on social media when he first came into the league. It rubbed them the wrong way or something. It’s mind boggling. He’s an entertaining follow on top of being a great player. He’s someone the league should be embracing and selling. Instead, he gets criticized because he doesn’t pass like Magic Johnson. Dude is a two way player leading the team with the 4th best record in the league with a top 5 offensive and defensive rating since they got healthy. It is what it is. They’re never giving dude an MVP.

Wow you're just losing your shit now. Both Curry and Jokic play decent defense now. They aren't shitty turnstiles like Harden.

And plenty would take Jokic over Durant or Tatum or Curry, or Embiid for that matter. They are all players you can win a title with.
