I tend to agree

Even if I think Cody made sense I get that it was underwhelming as 30

But Jesus Christ wwe, freaking natty for a bigger pop than Bianca…might be time to get a real champ on that belt
I think Cody at 30 is absolutely retarded. We all knew was in and there was zero suspense about him coming out and who was winning it.

It's dumb and a complete waste to announce him ahead of time and make him 30. It kills any suspense toward the end of the draw. He was the heavy favorite to win already so waiting until 30, knowing its gonna be him, its just too predictable and dampens things. With all the entrants they had, Cody should have been like in the early 20s and Logan Paul should have been 30. That would have been perfect. People would have been like "is it Sami? Is it The Rock?" Then the massive groans and boos they would have gotten when Logan Paul comes out. He's already hated. That would have given him nuclear heel heat. Then they could have done everything exactly the same in the Rumble, still got all the same spots in.

I did not expect that from jey, but it does add another layer of drama
If that was going to be the ending then the men’s rumble should’ve gone on last and had Jey, Jimmy and Sami be apart of the final 4.

Precisely. At least the women’s rumble was put together well. IMO ever male match blew balls.

Pretty good show. I thought the Men's Rumble was actually fairly mid. It was hohum but did have some fun spots with Lesnar/Lashley, a fun Booker T appearance, and an all time spot between Paul and Ricochet that will be played for ages. But the match itself was pretty tame. Not many surprised, not enough cool spots, especially early on, and it just felt rather tame. I'm fine with Cody winning even if its predictable, that wasn't a problem, its just the match itself struggled to keep energy. The Women's Rumble was better, had some nice surprises, and some great performances out of Liv, Asuka, and Rhea (the right winner). The Bray match was fun and interesting with Bray having a really cool look.

But that main event...*chef kiss*.

That's some world class storytelling right there. Movie quality stuff. Excellent ending to close the show.

I agree, but then you can have them beat the hell out of Sami and KO

But making jey an option would’ve been interesting

That was weird. How I would’ve done it, the same ending to the match ending, but have Jey super kick Jimmy then walk off similar. And once Jimmy came to have Roman belittle him and take the bloodline then the Rock come out. They say he isn’t in ring shape but he doesn’t have to be to cut a promo. Roman is a heel so he could just back away, without any violence.

Since Pierce allowed Sami and Jey to do the free birds rules that could make that straps very interesting. But only thing confusing about the turn right here is who is KO for mania. KO and Jerry going to fight over Sami?

Jey picking Sami over Jimmy would just be terrible booking

He needs to atone for his sins to our tribal chief

So 2 of the last 3 years we’ve had someone go wire to wire

That needs to be like maybe a once in a decade thing

And many of the others haven’t gone well (hbk x2, and Rey)

The writers have written themselves into a tight spot here

They’ve made Roman’s HOtT and tribal chief arc go through the entire family

The family crowned him

And the story was always, you leave th e bloodline, you leave the family

So unless jey is gonna change his name and get a new gimmick….how do you write this story out?

It’s an interesting situation
