Could be a cohesion issue..or an inconsistency thing...but your guess is as good as mine.Raptors aren’t a bad team.
There record should be better.
Not sure what the disconnect is.
Was Allen out tonight? It doesn’t compute that people shoot threes so well vs Cavs when you guys have the rim protection you have. If it’s me, the benefit to having that is to get out on shooters not scared of drive by because you have mistake erasers behind it in Allen and Mobley.

To be fair though, they also played last night..and beat the Kings in Sac..so maybe they just ran out of gas?
It happens. B2B's can be brutal. Personally I wish the league would do away with them.
Fair point. I forgot about that dynamic with their guards.Sure it does.
Their starting guards aren’t great defenders and both 6’1.
I don’t care how much you get out on shooters, a contest from a 6’1” defender just isn’t the same as a contest from a 6’6” player.
When they go big, it is a tough ask to expect their bigs to chase shooters off the 3 point line.
Even good defensive teams have weaknesses. This will likely always be Cleveland’s with this core.
It seems to be a trend but also they have been extremely unlucky. Even on contests (any player contest), teams were shooting sometging crazy like 50%. I think it is more about positioning and rotation then small guards. I have seen multiple contests by Mobley and Allen recently where players make it every time. It seems every team seems to shoot their best vs CLE. It just doesn’t make sense their defense overall is top 3 but the worst defending the 3.Sure it does.

Fans are just so dumb though.
Especially because it’s a questionable fit.Levine isn't worth two first rounders.
Yeah, you add a 30 ppg scorer and your stats don’t decrease a single iota.According to a very special fella Mobley's having a sophomore slump. Total nonsense.

Slump City.

People were calling me a hater when I offered up this perspective with the trade. Mobley has great all around game and as a result he tends to defer and let others do. Maybe the big splash Mitchell move came a year or two too early in the process. I think Mobley’s upside is a 20-25 shot a game three level scorer and a defender that can guard all 5 positions. Not sure his arc will be as quick as it could have been if they went into this season planning for him to be the number 2 option to Garland. Time will tell though. Great coaching could help him push through and still get him back on his rise.Yeah, you add a 30 ppg scorer and your stats don’t decrease a single iota.
