You can't play him. Ron not knowing his team could be eliminated is a fireable offense. Playing Wentz and risking 26m of your cap money this off-season would be another one.

I honestly feel they want another look at Heinicke. Big decision concerning him. Do you bring him back as the #2?

Does he play well vs Dallas allowing you to feel comfortable heading into the draft looking for a QB and skipping out on Carr and Jimmy G?

If I felt as a fanbase we could handle having Heinicke as the #2 that would be great. However a large majority of the fanbase is too young to remember the Superbowl years. They are so beaten down that they latch on to anything fun and any sign of winning.

I would love to go into next year with Heinicke as the #2. It would take a really high pick to keep that portion of the fanbase from calling for Heinicke at the first sign of trouble.

If you go Carr or Jimmy, Heinicke would have to go.

TH is an elite back up in this league. The data clearly shows that.

I think he will get better money elsewhere though and is probably tired of the circus that this team has become.

I think we get a Qb as well, but I don't think you can write of TH as the #2. Like you said, will depend on money, who they bring in, and how Howell looks Sunday.

Howell is the #2 and will compete for the starting job next year unless we get a high profile QB like Carr. Why bring back TH? Even if TH plays for league minimum why do you want to see him on the field over Howell or a draft pick or vet?
