I like this idea. We all know Wentz is gone. RR is most likely here next year by the time there is a new owner. and a low priced veteran QB seems like the ticket. (TH .... Brissett)

How cheap a vet QB? Say Baker, 1 year 16M to be the starter? Keep Howell in house and draft another QB. If Baker believes in himself, he will take that deal (double salary) and bet on himself with these weapons.

Maybe, would he sign for a year? Once the sale goes through there could be a lot of dead men walking after 2023.

If we go the vet route, I would go with Jimmy G.
He will be cheaper and has big game experience. He will also instill the importance of managing a game and not making unnecessary turnovers.

Again, that is if they go through vet route and decide against the draft. That is also if they feel Howell has the chance to lead the team long term..

Terry held out in camp, not sure why he didn't throw to Samuel if true. He doesn't throw to started during regular season. Wentz or TH got all the reps.
