Over a decade ago, me and 5 of my friends went to Miami on vacation.

We had a 2 day layover in Atlanta…don’t ask, don’t remember much…..lol

But, while leaving for Miami, this 80 year old white guy came over to me and said …

“ You are really pretty for a colored girl “.

I laughed and said…ugh, thanks?!?!

My friends were pissed at me because the antiquated term has been deemed offensive.

But, what good would it do to go in on someone like that.

Firstly, I was impaired.

More importantly, he was fucking in his 80’s.

Probably thought it was a compliment.

He’s not changing, why make a scene?

But, people can change.

WTF does he need to attack a old ass man for something he did decades agowhen his behavior since shows he’s likely evolved?

Sometime back between 2003 and 2006 I was working at Bosley Medical (same building Magic has his offices) on the graveyard shift and I was taking an incoming call for a lady who wanted info on the Bosley treatment for hair loss (it's a minor surgical procedure) and I asked her if she wanted to schedule an appointment with a Dr. She says, "Oh no, baby.... I am just an old, poor colored woman."

My jaw hit the floor.

When people would work late, it was common for folks to sleep on campus in unused offices. This producer said Mike Greenberg and Mike Golic would frequently let their staff stay in their offices for example. Well this producer was staying late one night and needed a place to stay. Someone there told him to use SAS office because it was never used. It was literally just an empty office with basic furniture in it because SAS always worked from NYC instead of Bristol. Well SAS found out this guy slept in the empty office and still had him disciplined.
